Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!

Tomorrow we may come this way...

New verse:

     | Upon the hearth the fire is red,Beneath the roof there is a bed;
But not yet weary are our feet,
Still round the corner we may meet
A sudden tree or standing stone
That none have seen but we alone.
Tree and flower and leaf and grass,
Let them pass! Let them pass!
 Hill and water under sky,
Pass them by! Pass them by!
 |
      |
      | Still round the corner there may wait A new road or a secret gate,
And though we pass them by today,
Tomorrow we may come this way
And take the hidden paths that run
Towards the Moon or to the Sun.
Apple, thorn, and nut and sloe,
Let them go! Let them go!
Sand and stone and pool and dell,
Fare you well! Fare you well!
 |
      |
Home is behind, the world ahead,And there are many paths to tread
Through shadows to the edge of night,
Until the stars are all alight.
Then world behind and home ahead,
Well wander back to home and bed.
Mist and twilight, cloud and shade,
Away shall fade! Away shall fade!
Fire and lamp, and meat and bread,
And then to bed! And then to bed!

    Good.
Vonage is good...bottom line, I pay 10% of my former phone bill...and still get to use my cordless phone.

Heh...Jr. is watching the game in his room and wife and Nana are watching it down here.

I really don't give a hoot. And I'm not even all that curious about the commercials.

I did enjoy the singing of the National Anthem. That was nicely done (for a change).

I'm doing homework... who cares about the game. If the Steelers had made it I might have it on, but that's it.

ARGH, this is so frustrating. The program I'm writing is easy, but I can't get it to run at all and the error messages are useless.

How much porn have they shown so far?

To: Overtaxed
Couldn't tell ya. Luke's watching "Shrek" on the TV I usually have on in here.

Evening All - surprise, surprise, no Superbowl on here either. I'll doubtless hear the score on the news driving in tomorrow and can make my usual comment of "Well, how bout them (insert team/sport here)"

There's about four shows we like on TV.

LSA and I are reading, and getting a bit of freeping in. Gypsygirl is not excited bout much, she's napping now.

Miss Peege wanted me to clean all the books and stuff off the recliner so she could snooze there. I'm thinking about popping some popcorn and watching a movie.

There's about four shows we like on TV. There's no show that I actually make a point to watch. There are some things I'll pay attention to if I'm in a room with a TV.
I like "24" but can't catch it when it's current. So I'm almost thru with Season 3 on DVD.

Well, did we move the debitage for Miss Kitty? or she 'forced' to take her snooze on the couch?

To: osagebowman
We moved the debitage, of course!

24 and LOST are good for witty banter and catch up amongst us cubicle bound types.

To: ExGeeEye
That is a rerun. I saw it, and left with more questions than answers.

We don't have cable now, so I missed it this time. Dang, I miss History channel

And I'm sure Miss Kitty was and will remain truly grateful for your efforts on her behalf. Gypsygirl has abandoned her doggiebed and is in the Kitchen, since that is source of virtually everything that is important to her. Seems LSA is going to bake some brownies and Gypsygirl is going lend a hand. er. paw.

To: osagebowman
Hmmm.....Miss Kitty looks so comfortable. Maybe I should give her a good "recline."

To: osagebowman
    Think I'll watch Casablanca tonight.
