Heh, a classic indeed. One of my favorite Heinlein's and that's saying a lot. I especially love the bit about education at the beginning - I bet Heinlein would have liked homeschooling.
The main thing I'm concerned about is the cat. I guess I could always board him in Ft. Collins while we're at the wedding if I hadda.
Margaret really, really wanted to drive to the wedding to begin with, as you recall, and Dad vetoed it since it didn't make sense when it didn't save much over airfare. But if I'm headed that way anyway and really wanted another driver - I was hoping to have her along somehow - this WOULD make sense. It's just that...it's so soon!
But the main reason I was planning to stick around for awhile even if the house sold quickly was because I didn't think I'd be able to afford leaving without hanging out and saving up money. Now...well...I don't have that to worry about. I have enough for relocating.
But probably we should do some talkin' on the phone! There are some financial things to work out, if nothing else. I should send you my number.
IIRC, a coupla good things about taxation as well.
Oh, wait, it's the Iranian Army.
Funny, that...
...and they all look like Tsar Nicholas II, epaulets and all...
Y'all must be watchin' football.
I'm not watching the game...thinkin' about going out to the grocery store, that is, if it's open! Just came back from a little jog, no cars at all on the road, that was a pleasure. Who's winning?
How would Margaret get back? Though she's welcome to stick around for a few days.
Possibly we could talk Wednesday night - that's my first early evening this week.
She would fly back from Seattle after the wedding. If we did that. Like I said, the cat is my main concern in that. I don't wanna start that off on the wrong foot!
I'll FReepmail you my number - unless you'd rather I call you, which is fine, too!
Beats the bratwurst out of me...I have not much interest in it.
I'll call you. It costs me the same to call as to recieve a call, so that makes the most sense.
got vonage?
nor me ;-)
5:30 Mass is usually packed to the gills! The church was about half full tonight. Father Paul gave a quick sermon, and we were out of there in less 45 mins, that that included the Blessing of the Throats!
ecurbh is about to go to the feed store... we figured now would be a good time for that too! :~D
It's tied at Zero. Bee-Eff-Dee, Whoop-Dee-Doo.
I quit watching television some years ago, mainly because I got tired of Clinton's face suddenly appearing. But I found out what a delightful habit not watching TV is and haven't gone back.
I used to like I dream of Jeannie, though.
No TV in the church? to see the pregame show?
Just noticed our new guest!
No, one of those pay-by-the-minute cells.
The kind of Biblical prophecy I believe in points, or pointed as in the Messianic prophecies, to events and people so far in advance and so clearly that, as people in the time of Christ knew he fulfilled them, so we will know if the prophecies of times to come begin to be fulfilled in our time.
Just my opinion...
