Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!
Tomorrow we may come this way...
New verse:
Upon the hearth the fire is red, Beneath the roof there is a bed; But not yet weary are our feet, Still round the corner we may meet A sudden tree or standing stone That none have seen but we alone. Tree and flower and leaf and grass, Let them pass! Let them pass! Hill and water under sky, Pass them by! Pass them by! |
|
|
Still round the corner there may wait A new road or a secret gate, And though we pass them by today, Tomorrow we may come this way And take the hidden paths that run Towards the Moon or to the Sun. Apple, thorn, and nut and sloe, Let them go! Let them go! Sand and stone and pool and dell, Fare you well! Fare you well! |
|
Home is behind, the world ahead, And there are many paths to tread Through shadows to the edge of night, Until the stars are all alight. Then world behind and home ahead, Well wander back to home and bed. Mist and twilight, cloud and shade, Away shall fade! Away shall fade! Fire and lamp, and meat and bread, And then to bed! And then to bed! |

Morning G'nad - Sorry to hear bout thegirl. Hope she's the onliest one that comin down withthecrud.
Traded into another fletcher chopper; this one is 4" Shield Cut. Did some practicing on some 'recycleable' feathers. Has a classic look. Nice change of pace from the parabolic cut and the Pope & Young cut. Should look on the chundoo shafts I traded for.

"he wasn't supposed to say yes" Okayyy, if you think so.

I think God's pushing her along.I dunno if pushing is even strong enough. I was talking to a friend a few months back about wanting to get out of here but not knowing how or where to go and wishing God would kinda give me a sign, though I know that's not right to ask. He said "What do you expect, a roadmap with flashing arrows?"
Practically have that!

It was not pleasant.

Time to get changed outta church clothes and start sorting stuff. I can spread stuff out again in piles all over the house now that this place doesn't have to look neat!
Need ta get more boxes, though...

There's an old joke I can barely remember... about a man who was stranded on an island and was confident God would save him. A boat came, and a search crew, but he turned them away, for whatever reason, saying he knew God would save him. I think he died... and he got to heaven, and asked "why didn't you save me?" and God said "I sent you the boat, and the search party... what more did you want?"
Something like that.... anyone remember it?

Yeah...it was a guy in a flood. It kept rising, and various people came to rescue him, ending with a helicopter coming to pick him up out of the water as he's clinging to the chimney, but he told each person "No, I don't need help - God will save me!"
I hope I'm not quite THAT dense, but...

Sorry I'm not around! Been days since I posted, but Steve took some time off while the weather was good to get some things done. We knew we'd have about 2 nice days. He is at school now...it's pouring down rain outside.
Got this today! A picture of Andy walking! And this, from his mother:
Just thought a picture is worth a thousand words...
Thank you for your continued prayers and support!!!!
God bless!
Chris
