Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!
Tomorrow we may come this way...
New verse:
Upon the hearth the fire is red, Beneath the roof there is a bed; But not yet weary are our feet, Still round the corner we may meet A sudden tree or standing stone That none have seen but we alone. Tree and flower and leaf and grass, Let them pass! Let them pass! Hill and water under sky, Pass them by! Pass them by! |
|
|
Still round the corner there may wait A new road or a secret gate, And though we pass them by today, Tomorrow we may come this way And take the hidden paths that run Towards the Moon or to the Sun. Apple, thorn, and nut and sloe, Let them go! Let them go! Sand and stone and pool and dell, Fare you well! Fare you well! |
|
Home is behind, the world ahead, And there are many paths to tread Through shadows to the edge of night, Until the stars are all alight. Then world behind and home ahead, Well wander back to home and bed. Mist and twilight, cloud and shade, Away shall fade! Away shall fade! Fire and lamp, and meat and bread, And then to bed! And then to bed! |

Yeah, a buyer...an older lady, I guess, looking for something one story and easy to care for.

My turn to kill it, apparently.
Got ANOTHER call letting me know that the neighbor's daughter cancelled her appointment because she told them she wanted to go through with her dad...lady was concerned that they were trying to work around the agency. Ugh...I always manage to get into trouble! Heh...or not heh, as the case may be.
So...now I gotta call HIM and let him know that, silly as he may think me, he really should go through the house with the agent, though he's free to stop by at other times.
I THINK that's the best way. Gosh, I dunno what's right.

Michelle-at-Camillus just received our customized HH "utility knife" for their company collection. Here's her email:
-----------------
I received the engraved CQB3 you sent me. It is outstanding! Thank you so very much. I will take a few moments to show it around the office this morning, most specifically, our company president, Jim F.
Additionally, thank you for forwarding the attached e-mail from Chief Warrant Officer Kent D. What a terrific testimonial! I will also share this with our company president.
It is a true pleasure to work with you in supplying our soldiers with the equipment they need to get the job done! I look forward to speaking with you in the near future. Again, thank you so very much.

I think you're right, whatever he thinks. Do what you are comfortable with, and don't annoy your real estate agent!

Not your fault...
Gah, got all the parts in the new computer and it won't power on. Bet I forgot to flip something on the power supply.

Someone just sent this to me via e-mail.
Some of you may have already seen it, but I thought it was worth sharing anyway.

I wanna go home, but hafta wait as they're showing the house at four.
And I can't call the dad until after five thirty, so I have to worry about that for a bit. ;-) Just talked to Stephen, who said the guy had already ranted a bit about my signing with an agency. He has no use for such things. I'm likely to get lectured...but he's a good guy at heart. Just has VERY strong ideas about things.
Personally, I think the agencies earn their pay! I'd NEVER want to tackle selling a house on my own, thank ya very much. Too many things you have to do right or risk getting in trouble from a legal standpoint, for one.

Just tell him you're too busy to sell your own house, and are afraid someone might rip you off. Play "poor helpless girl" and those types will give you a lot of slack.
I agree, why try it on your own when there are people who will do it for you?
