Subbie Slip has her whip, handcuffs and legcuffs as always. Subbie is also here for THREE days. So you better be nice, otherwise you get coal on your face. Im just letting all the new students know that we behave as if we were ladies and gentlemen in here. Those two words as if can get you an A if you make the subbie laugh.

Well, they're playing MY team, the Diamondbacks. I'll be watching that game and all the rest of the D-backs games as well.
We're finally home.
It actually took us less time to get home today than it did to get there yesterday.
Around 11 I finally gave up on the shoes........and even took the metro barefoot!!! And I wasn't the only one.

balls are not easy on the feet. i don't remember taking my shoes off at the FR one last year but definitely at the real inaugural ball for Bush1 i had them off on the street outside and on the way home. my feet never hurt as badly as then.
The were very gracious when I had a chance to speak with them briefly a little later. the one gentleman had just gotten back from Bagdad and could not say enough about how grateful they are to the troops and what a fabulous job they were doing. And also how we never get to here all the good that is going on there.

I think football sucks! A bunch of refrigerators out there getting pounded in the cold and rain gives me no joy.
I did like high school and college football because of the players' rear-ends, but that was the only reason I liked it.

Oh, we were looking for you there. That's where we had our photos taken with the Oscar Meyer Weinermobile.
It wasn't the ball that did it........it was making a wrong turn when we got off the Metro......we walked 4 blocks in the wrong direction....so we turned a short block walk into a 12 block trek....my feet hurt before we even got there!!!
A group of us were siting in the bar chatting have a cigarette and I just gave up on them.
Bless my hubby's heart..........he had the valets get us a cab to get back to the metro station....there was no way I could have walked it.
We met a great group of college kids in th metro station who had also been to the FR ball...........they got up and made me sit down when they saw me with the shoes in my hand!
I saw your comments about the snowballs and the protesters...........several of the FReepers got caught in the cops pepper spray attack on protestors, so they weren't being ignored!!!
