Wish I'd known. I was in Little Rock yesterday. What time did you get in there? Probably after I was already on the way home, I imagine.
.
How cute! Yep, working at home today (later), am sitting with my second cup of coffee, fire going, kitties sprawled all over...
A good friend of mine just moved back to Royal; I think that is near Hot Springs. I just got a note from her last night.
I hope Bluto's not coming over to work. He'd clean out the groceries.
I'll be working at home this evening, too, probably. Have court reports to write. I'm never able to concentrate on that kind of stuff at the office. Too many distractions, too much noise, too many interuptions. That kind of atmosphere doesn't mix well with ADD.
So when you gonna come out to visit her?
I might be going to a conference in Hot Springs in April.
LOL! Bluto is off to Vegas today to attend a gun show and eat up the town.
Do you get credit for stuff you take home or is that in addition to your regular duties?
We just saw her at her Naval Retirement in CA, early December, so it might be awhile until we make it to Arkansas. The last time we drove through Hot Springs, we were coming back from Indiana. But, I think we'll fly the next time we go to see Iceman's family. I liked the parts of Arkansas we saw though. Not to sound too elitist and "blue state", but some of those little states happily surprised me.
We got in about 5:30...rush hour and with the sun in our eyes. But we made it which is the main thing. Must find a grocery store close-by today.
Yes. I get credit for the time.
Are you camping out somewhere? How fun.
North central and northwest Arkansas are by far the nicest. Down in central Arknasas there is a whole different class of people....think Clintonites. That is also the where the densest population of bleack RAT voters/voter fraud is, there and the delta area.
So you're still in Little Rock today? Where are you staying?
We are on our way south on a long road trip in the RV. We run our business out of the RV as long as we have internet connections. Heading to San Antonio for a convention and then to the Rio Grande Valley for several weeks. Sam the hound dog is a good camper :^)
Bluto does guns?
Totally amazing.
That sounds awesome. Nice vagabond/gypsy-type of lifestyle I like, but yours is respectable since you have a business :)
That's his passion. He attends every gun show in AZ and most neighboring states. His eyes light up and he is a nice person when he discusses AK-47s. He even has some secret dealer's license so he can go early this weekend. He's in his late 40s and not married, no kids, etc., so I guess he has to spend his oodles of money on something besides 'see food'.
North Little Rock to be precise. At a KOA campground. My internet is a little funky, I'll be sailing along and suddenly lose connections. It's slowing down my freepin!
How's everything in Austin this morning :)?
LOL! I like being a vagabond but it takes some adjustment to being in the tighter quarters of the RV. It'll help getting things more organized.
We still have to work for a living, unlike so many of the RV'ers who are retired. But we're fortunate we are able to go on trips like this and operate, we'd never have been able to do it just a few years ago without internet and cell phone technology.
Mr. Prairie brought along all of his vonage internet phone technology stuff hoping to use that this trip. So far he hasn't been able to get this campgrounds internet system to the point he can create a network in the RV, which is what we usually do. So he's back to the cell phones and hoping to try out the vonage stuff at some point this trip. Maybe when we get to the Valley, we have cable modem highspeed there.
