Well it's usually clear but I am in my right mind and noticed the sky truly does look different.
I just stepped out to see, it looks normal to me. If you want to see a lot of stars up close go up in the mountains and look in the sky.
What you're seeing is just the prelude to 12/12/2012 when the solar system will undergo hyperdimensional transformation to a higher dimensional consiousness. Spiritual preparation is needed to insure that your psyche is prepared to adjust to the new reality. Of particular concern is the realization that property values in California will be readjusted to the mean for Lima, Ohio.
