could you fill me in on hte "flatliners" reference. I did not notice it in the show last night and I do not know what it has to do wiht Kiefer S. I would appreciate it.
Haven't seen 'FLATLINERS' in years so you might get a better explanation from our fellow '24' posters...but...there were a couple of scenes in '24' with Kiefer/Jack that reminded a lot of people of how some of his scenes in 'FLATLINERS' looked...it was a visual thing and had nothing to do with Jack's character or with '24' itself.

Isn't the Flatliners reference in the final episode simply Jack "dying" and then coming back to life. That was the premise of Flatliners. Maybe next season on 24, Jack will be haunted by his past sins like he was in Flatliners.
