The bad guy has gotten away too many times. The writers could have done better. It seems that whenever they need a plot twist, the let Marwan go. At this point, it's stupid.

With an infinite number of possibilities, the writers continuously pick the least imaginative option.

I hope they do better with the interrogation of the brother.

Thanks, your analysis as to WHY the plot twist was "stupid" was helpful... and I think you have a good point. More imaginative would be better. Perhaps if someone on CTU side did something really stupid, instead of this "terrorist ex machina" stuff. They just appear, do thier job and escape--as if there were no perimeter in or out

Yes! I said the same thing to dh when we finally got around to watching this episode last night. We've been waiting all this time for Marwan to get captured, and when he does, they have him in custody for all of 5 or 6 minutes. Ridiculous. We're big 24 fans around here, but that really pushed the limits of my patience.
