$173,000 for “professional services,”

We can only imagine what those services could be :)

Maroulis was spotted at Tara Reid-like numbers of Hollywood parties.

I knew you'd get a kick out of this. As for a "home" for his "great family drama," he might try the Animal Planet. They seem to have run out of original ideas over there, and the Crocodile Hunter hasn't been doing any new shows in awhile. (He's busy trying to get backers for a venture in Las Vegas and applying for U.S. citizenship.)

Why can't I ever find sweet deals like that, sigh. Must not be offering the right, ummmm, services. ;-)

Kelsey Grammer must see something in Lt Dan that I/we missed

Kelsey doesn't have the best track record right now. Remember his "Scetch Show" last spring? It was the unfunniest comedy I've ever seen.

Nope.

And it was terribly frustrating to his fans who were the number one contributors to the charity in the first place.

But whenever folks who were in the know tried to speak out about the abuse of funds they had witnessed, they were banned from the Clay sites and marked as liars or trolls.

I do hold Clay accountable for a good portion of the blame since he should have been keeping a close eye on that foundation. But I mostly blame the thieves and cheats who used that money for first class airfare and front row seats.

*sigh* It's discouraging to anyone who really cared about the foundation, like I and many of my friends did.

We donate to Best Buddies and various Autism charities now.

Not one more penny of mine has gone to Bubel/Aiken since over a year ago.

Actually, I'd rather eat at IHOP than a fancy restaurant any day. Give me some eggs, ham, home fries and pancakes and I'm happy as a clam. :)

Amen! I rather serve myself at a buffet than have some snobby waiter hovering over me.

I know I'd never eat at a restaurant where he was the chef. Blech!

I agree. That guy could be as clean as new snow, but with the tattoos ... no thanks.

In the meantime, over on the summer AI tour, Bo fell on stage and broke his foot. He said he was used to wearing cowboy boots, but they were slipping when he was jumping around the stage. So he switched to Nikes or something, but the way he jumped around in them, the fabric tore and he twisted is ankle and broke his foot.

But he's going to "soldier" on and stay on the tour.

And it looks as thought both Carrie's and Bo's singles will struggle to make the gold record mark (500,000 sales).

Now that you mention him, I haven't seen the Crocodile Hunter in quite a while. Not since he got in a little trouble for letting his infant get too close to a croc. It was like he disappeared after that.

I like buffets also, except for fighting off the people who act like they haven't eaten in days. It's unbelievable how people act when there's food around.

That's probably a wiser way to direct your hard-earned dollars to charities you care about.

Croc Hunter was on Larry King awhile back. His wife's an American, so they were talking about this grand zo thingy they want to build in Vegas. They were looking for backers. They are moving (or have moved) to the U.S. and he plans to become an American citizen. Just what we need. One more pain-in-the-butt celebrity.

Ouch! On the plus side, maybe this'll cut down on all the microphone-swinging :)

And it looks as thought both Carrie's and Bo's singles will struggle to make the gold record mark (500,000 sales).

Ouch again. I feel sorry for both of them.

What a trooper...

Hehehehehehe...yeah. Guy's got guts, I tell ya. Let's ship him to Iraq this very minute. [evil snicker]

But to be fair, I wouldn't hold their weak singles sales against them. That side #1 song is awful, and they both were forced to put out the same thing. Before I give their careers up for dead, I'm willing to see what kind of albums they put out.

what does that say about the show?

The producers saddled Carrie and Bo with terrible songs--the same terrible song, which I will never understand--and then released their singles with little or no publicity. They deserve better than that, otherwise what's the point of winning the show?

Yeah. Maybe that's what caused it.

I feel sorry for both of them.

I know what you mean. They were saddled with a horrible situation having to both put out that awful song.

A zoo in Vegas? I can imagine the "cat fight" (bad pun) that the Croc Hunter will have with Siegfried & Roy

It's true that song is awful.

I'm waiting to see what their first full albums sound like before I spend any money on them.

Off to bed. See you all soon!!

And jonny, thanks for using the ping list for the Knives for Soldiers thread. I'm really appreciative!
