And it was terribly frustrating to his fans who were the number one contributors to the charity in the first place.
But whenever folks who were in the know tried to speak out about the abuse of funds they had witnessed, they were banned from the Clay sites and marked as liars or trolls.
I do hold Clay accountable for a good portion of the blame since he should have been keeping a close eye on that foundation. But I mostly blame the thieves and cheats who used that money for first class airfare and front row seats.
*sigh* It's discouraging to anyone who really cared about the foundation, like I and many of my friends did.
We donate to Best Buddies and various Autism charities now.
Not one more penny of mine has gone to Bubel/Aiken since over a year ago.
That's probably a wiser way to direct your hard-earned dollars to charities you care about.
