Jack's Back
Minor characters have a real short 'shelf life' on 24. For that matter, so do some major ones. Remember Mom's cryptic comment about "how the police will be too busy to worry about some missing girl?" There's something a LOT BIGGER than Heller's kidnapping going on here.
Ha! Good one.
I just checked the ratings from last night, 24 had their highest numbers ever.
Here's the link http://tv.yahoo.com/news/va/20050110/110539291300.html
Just to add, this entire thread is a SPOILER. So if you haven't seen, do not follow the threads!
Yes, the briefcase from the train..
I agree, the mother is not who she seems. 24 has a history of turning characters. Get season one and you'll see. (if you haven't already)
I started watching Season 2 and quickly got hooked! Bought Season 1 so I do know the history. This show is definately the best thing on TV. I am on the edge on my seat for an hour every week. And you are right, the twists are what keeps me hooked!

That african american chick looks like Aisha Taylor.
She IS Aisha Tyler, from "Friends." And looks like trouble to me. Who ever knows with this show though?
Like I said, NEVER trust a woman who sleeps her way to the top.
See my post last post.
I watched it last night....but was away tonight.
Did the mother poison the young girl?
Did she kill her own son?
Is the Sec of Def son? & or daughter? part of the terrorist plot?
That would be LAST post... didn't need to post the word post twice. Like I just did again!
I remember her from Talk Soup. She has slimmed down.
Maybe she's President's Palmer daughter sent as sort of a guardian angel.
What happened to President Palmer???? Michelle Dessler Almeida??
Yes, the mother killed her son's girlfriend....no, she didn't kill her son and the kidnapping of the SecDef is a sub-plot..bigger things are about to happen....don't miss next week, looks real good!
The most evil characters on this show from the very first episode several years ago have been women (Mandy, Nina Myers, Sherry Palmer). From the looks of these first four episodes, we are about to add a few more to the roster.
How did the son 'take it'....???
I think he was a little upset...LOL....he was supposed to kill her, but decided to help her escape...but the poison kicked in before they could leave...
He seems distressed, but turned the gun over to Mom.
She came down, after listening to him tell Debbie that they needed to leave, and she said "I knew you couldn't do it...hand me the gun." And he did. I almost thought he would turn it on her....but he didn't. He handed her the gun. Then Debbie coded. I don't think it showed his reaction.
