Last year this time, I shattered my big toe in a TKD tournament- didn't know it til I picked up my trophy. Tonight, we practiced in a different place that has a rubberized, padded floor, which makes turning during forms VERY hard. Naturally, I found a way for my toes to stick as the rest of my body and foot turned- POP! I laughed last year when I said I never realized how much you need your big toe. Now, I realize how much I need my little toe! It is ugly beyond all get out. Already black and blue and twice the normal size. Hurts like a MF to walk on it.

Several years ago my son jammed his toe so bad that it pushed out from the skin, and dislocated it.. while playing soccer...he refused to use crutches and was in a lot of pain...I sympathize with you...
