I normally dont think about (or care) about a particular person's politics if they are on a show I am watching...
LOL
I read this somewhere. I believe they made this list simply based on one or two commentaries on certain issue that the "celebrity" made. Based on this kind of standard, they should put Bill Cosby too.
Yaphet Kotto, "G", the Lt. from "Homicide Life on the Street", campaigned for Steve Forbes in 2000.
Van Morrison?
He's from Ireland. When did he (if he even did) become a US citizen?
"James Woods"
I don't know what party he is registered with, but he is pretty conservative. I heard him on the Sean Hannity show, he called in to defend Bush and his approach to the WOT. Woods also stated that he has a degree in Political Science, from MIT (!), and therefore (I paraphrase): unlike some other hollywood celebs he actually knows what he's talking about.
It was a great radio moment.
Rob Lowe must have changed at some point. In 1988, he stumped for Dukakis - and was caught in that sex/video scandal while at the Dem convention.
Also, Gene Simmons, while huge on the WOT, has said on more than one occasion that his personal/social beliefs were far more in line with the Dems than with the Reps.
"Reggie White"
Unfortunately, not anymore.
Stallone and David Spade are NOT Republicans.
Dean Cain (according to newsmeat.com) has given money to both parties.
The whole thing is a three ring circus.
He's undoubtedly a brilliant man-especially for someone who makes a living in Hollywood-who would make a fine Republican, especially as a candidate for public office in the future.
-good times, G.J.P. (Jr.)
There goes the list's credibility.
