Yours is palatial compared to the holes in the floor in a Monaco shopping mall. Tres chic.

But where are the footprints?

I guess with such a big target, they figgered no one could miss.

Back to the year-ending bill paying orgy.

Good evening...what a wonderful day here. Warm and sunny and all the snow melted except the mounds on the parking lots from the private snowplows.

And it happened again with the robins. I read your earlier post about how you saw them once in a flock. This afternoon, they repeated their little act again...flying in by the dozens, swooping as I have never seen robins do and perching on many branches and never going to the ground. And then they were off again. I must do some research on this.

I hope you are getting over missing your daughter and grandson by being at work. Lonesome is different from lonely, no?

I very much enjoy my own company, and Nermal's, of course. But I really enjoy the company of my family too. I guess it is a matter of finding a balance. I do wish they didn't live so far away, but then, it was me that moved, and I am much better off for it.

Global warming. We're all gonna die. < /sarcasm >

I have been over here on this thread off and on since it was posted. I may actually get done reading all the posts sometime tonight. Interesting discussion. This is one of those kind of threads that gets Swervie banned.

I enjoy my own company also, so I am not lonely. My hubby and I have a relationship that we do not need to be joined at the hip to be happy. By that I mean, we don't follow each other into rooms because we cannot bear to be apart, as some married couples I know. LOL

But, lonesome is different. It is longing for someone that is not there and it can be very sad.

Oh, about the robins...do you think I should call my local conservation agent and ask him of global warning? LOL

Oh, I read the first of that thread you mentioned. Such a silly and arrogant demand of the poster.

But, it makes me realize what Rush has always said, that those living now think we live in the worst of times and that whatever happened in the past is trivial.

If Feingold had a clue, he might learn that those poor little turkey farmers in backward Alabama have managed a business for nine decades that fed many

He's too busy playing golf and insulting people to ask questions about the folks that live there
