Anyone who's had a family member in any war will tell you about the Red Cross...my WWI grandfather clued me in, way back in the day.
Good idea Babe. A lift chair.
So did my brothers. Have never given to them since WW2. Those busturds used to charge them for cigs even.
I saw a "Blow'em outta the chair/recliner" at CostCo for $480, but this should be seriously shopped...surely this cannot be the best price.
I will be looking for my father, also.
Cheers.
Thanks for the thought my donation goes through my church where 100% go to relief!
Loddy, my mother clued me in of the Red Cross years ago during her work as a public health nurse in Louisiana.
Well, I have never tried one, but have seen the chairs in action by people with mobility problems just getting their feet under them after they are sitting.
Wow... I just made the best Cream of Brocolli, Cheese and Ham soup. Mmmm...mmmmm..mmmmm. I should have made a bigger batch.
Why do I like to cook and eat????? Someone help me?
That's what they're for. Just what he needs.
You can help me...give me the recipe for the soup. I have left over ham coming out my ears. LOL
No recipe, but I'll try to tell you what I did tomorrow. I hope I remember because I want it again..lol.
Yep. Like governments, and all huge internationalists, the Red Cross is mainly in business for the Red Cross, and NOT for their supposed clients.
For me, the Salvation Army is the best way to get the money to those who need it.
LOL..that orangish thing is the cuff on his boots. Don't get nervous now..lol. I'm not that baaaaaaaaaad "yet".
Thank you I could not make the connection of why that was there!
I did not see an orange scraf or a sach!
You got that right. This is certainly the most difficult case I have had. The mom is stump stupid, and so far, I haven't run across any member of the family that shows any evidence of psychological health, although there is no shortage of those that want to be involved. It just breaks my heart dealing with these children and trying to maintain some composure in dealing with these "parents."
I think he knows it, too. He won't even look at me.
That's a good thing!
Yeah, she is. We're talking major denial. Just the fact that she defends that worthless POS instead of protecting her children is beyond comprehension to me. You gotta wonder what kind of woman is attracted to men who like having sex with children...he prefers them 5-7 years old and apparently gender isn't an issue. He'll take what's available. Hardly a day passes we don't find out more about this pathetic life form, and here's the thing that will really p**s you off....apart from the fact that he has perped on children in 3 states (that we know about) and has never been criminally prosecuted. He is doing maintainance in a trailer park where he has access to children. I also understand that he and the mom babysit, and we can't say anything to warn parents there because of his right to privacy. Since he hasn't been criminally prosecuted, even though his name is on the central registry in 3 states, he has never been required to register as a sex offender.
You have nothing to worry about from me. You're not doing little kids.
