Yes, I knew about that group of FReepers. I've been working with a local group who have been doing the same thing for the past 2 Christmases

Happy early Birthday, Woliff... Oh well..it's almost midnight there.
It will take a little time getting there.. I don't know how the winds are running..;)
Sorry, but I've been tied up with the house all day... Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr....

It was around 62 here today.... We had 3 days and nights of freezing temps, never reached 40 on Christmas day. We had snow flurries but no accumulation, however, New Orleans had about a 1/2" of snow it was their first white Christmas ever. All the roads and bridges in or out of the city were iced over and shut down.

She said that was so I wouldn't have to worry so much about about who to vote for next time around. I could just run myself. LOL!You'd probably be superior to 90% of those actually running.

Totally put together, picked up, and good to go, compared to my command center, Westy.

Good job with it.

(I may be one of those dudes that die when all their piles of crap tumble down on them and they can't escape.)

Cheers, everyone.

Apple quietly settled a law suit with people who did not like OS-X and wanted to stay on OS 9.3. It was a great culmination of years of evolution of Mac software.

Since I work in the Unix world, and since OS-X is a flavor of Unix, I am overjoyed I can finally get on a Mac and program it.

Thanks for the information. I remember back in the early 80's when my real estate broker had all his stuff on UNIX, all it did was work.

Gates just stole more stuff and had a better marketing strategy than did Jobs, regardless the merits of each OS.

We, the masses, evidently need our point and mash GUI's.
