In case you're still on, Battlestar Gallactica will repeat, in 1/2 hour (on SciFi channel). For the next half hour, it will repeat the behind the scenes for the premiere.

Could be....I know I have seen a ghost!

Thai tsunami trauma sparks rash of foreign ghost sightings
http://news.yahoo.com/news?tmpl=story&cid=1530&u=/afp/asiaquakethailandghosts&printer=1

Tales of ghost sightings in the six worst hit southern provinces have become endemic, with many locals saying they are too terrified to venture near the beach or into the ocean.

Spooked volunteer body searchers on the resort areas of Phi Phi island and Khao Lak are reported to have looked for tourists heard laughing and singing on the beach only to find darkness and empty sand.

Taxi drivers in Patong swear they have picked up a foreign man and his Thai girlfriend going to the airport with all their baggage, only to then look in the rear-view mirror and find an empty seat.

Buy Blue Supporters:

We have been working long hours and you have all been waiting patiently for it for the last 3 weeks and the day has finally arrived – the list is back! You can view an alphabetized version of the list at www.buyblue.org/alphalist.php and you can view a ranked list at www.buyblue.org/rankedlist.php .

When you check out the site to see the list you’ll probably notice a few changes. First, there are fewer companies present than we had over the months leading up to Christmas. That isn’t a mistake; we are just double checking every number for accuracy and ensuring that we run everything through our research methodology (view it at www.buyblue.org/faqs.html#methodology). We will be adding every company we had on the list prior to Christmas in the coming weeks. We’ll also be adding new companies over time as our research team has a chance to work through their queue.

We’d like to engage all of you for help here. If you know of something you’d like to see on the list drop us an email at mail@buyblue.org and include as much information as possible about that company. The more requests we get for a given company the higher it will move in our research queue.

Secondly, you’ll notice that the presentation of these companies is a lot different. We have been saying since we first launched our web site that we intended to paint a comprehensive picture of a company and make it easy to take action – this is the first step toward that goal. If you click one level down in the lists you’ll see a detailed profile for the given company. If you click the “Take Action” section you’ll be presented with ways to contact the company and send them a letter of praise or a letter of complaint. If we have an email address on file you can even send an email from our web site! Incidentally if you learn of a customer service email address and we don’t have one on file please let us know and we’ll add it!

This version of our website is meant to prototype many of the concepts we have been kicking around for the last few weeks and put more information at your disposal. If you like or dislike a feature or have ideas of your own let us know. Let us know what works and what doesn’t. We may be limited with what we can do with this version of the web site, but we will make sure that all the good ideas make it into the next version.

Finally, the most important item to note is the “Take Action” section. It is just as important to send praise to Blue companies as it is to complain to Red ones. If you are switching to a Blue business because of the information here, let them know that. If you will no longer be patronizing a Red business make sure you let them know why.

We have a lot planned for the New Year and we can’t wait to get started. Since we had the list down the popularity of the site dropped off considerably, so please do what you can to pass the word around and let people know we are back and better than ever. If you’d like to help out, our greatest need is going to be research. Once you read the research methodology and see the information we have presented you’ll see that it takes a lot of work. I’d estimate that for the average company with nothing sneaky going on it takes 4 to 6 hours to do it right and possibly more until the learning curve kicks in. If you have some time on your hands and would like to help us out shoot us an email at volunteer@buyblue.org and we’ll get you in touch with our research coordinator.

George W. Bush’s inauguration is next Tuesday, let’s all rededicate ourselves to the cause and show Corporate America that conducting business in a progressive manner IS profitable.

The fog hit your area too???

The inlaws came over tonight and boy oh boy is my mother inlaw not handling the news of my SIL walking out on her hubby

Nope .. not handling it well at all

Well I'm off to la la land .. I need to get some sleep .. I might have to take Dana to the docs for her foot

She did something to it over at a friends and came home limping

At first I thought she was milking it .. but by the end of the night it started to swell up

I guess we'll see in a few hours how she's feeling

Sweet Dreams Y'all
