( Miss Kitty, the sun hasn't come up on the day that Marshal Dillon can't take care of himself.)
To: Pippin
Hi, Pip! No, I wish I could, but won't be able to. That's a work day for me....plus, I don't trust my vehicle. One day, when I get a better car, I can plan to go places outside of my cave. : )

Sun? I heard of that once.
Yeah, it probably is Nully's fault.

I dunno, Nic, but I will ping a couple of the computer gurus.
See Nic's post #3265. Any suggestions?

I'll tell you what it's also been doing for the past day or so: when I click the start button....nothing happens at all, for a LONG time, then the menu finally comes up; when I finally get it to restart...it hangs there forever with a blank screen with the "thinking" symbol.....then finally the icons appear.
I'm wondering if I have a virus and that that's separate from not being able to get online.
To: sweetliberty
Somewhat.
But then again, somewhat relieved.

sounds like your modem or ethernet card died.
Either that or your browser has lost it's setup on how to find a domain name server.

Either that or your browser has lost it's setup on how to find a domain name server. That's happen to me on several occasions after the kids were playing with the computer
Don't ask me how to check and fix it ... Mike did that part

I'll see what it's doing when I get home; while at lunch I talked to someone about this; they are on the same cable system (Road Runner)...they couldn't get online last night or this a.m., either....
(That explain the internet problem; but there's still something acting goofy with my 'puter.)
Thanks, mo and servant of 9 for your thoughts.

Royal Green throw pillows?
What a perfectly odd dream that was last night.
No, I won't go into detail.
But there was reclining, and royal green throw pillows.
That's all I'm sayin'!
