No hope for me.....the weather where I live is perpetually DOOMED....and I ain't kidding. (I'm thinking the way the weather guy was talking, we may be looking a subzero or highs of 1 degrees, like a few weeks ago.

hey....dumb question.
This here laptop has windows xp. I am using a wireless card, but when I log on can't get to the network. When we log on for Linda it works.
Is there a setting change I have to make under my log on?

Once I had a man from Maine, who had retired to Louisiana, tell me that one had to schedule vacations carefully because if they left at the wrong time...they would miss the two weeks of summer in Maine.
Could this be true?

Yes; I think we had about 2 1/2 weeks of summer in 2004....mostly, it rained and was NOT very warm.
