BTW, we moved from CO to the People's Republic of Illinois several years ago. We are looking to either go back there or possibly KS in the not so distant future.

"OMG .. that is sooooooooo depressing How do you survive?" By abusing liberals, of course. What else is a conservative in New York supposed to do for fun?

"Is it safe to assume YOU don't drink any" It's never safe to assume anything with Sharkey....well, except that his "bark" is bigger than his bite.

"I honestly believe I need to find something like that. I just don't know what brand to get." I suffered terribly from SAD (Seasonal Affective Disorder) when I lived in Colorado. At the time, the light boxes were terribly expensive. I expect there are some that still are. It took months for me to get approval by my insurance for one, and then there was no vendor number available so I ended up moving instead. Don't have the problem any more. Here's a link to some that aren't too bad pricewise:
True Sun.
My doctor suffered from the same problem and the one he used was the style 3'rd from the left for 20 minutes twice a day. The important thing is that you have to absorb the light directly through the pupils, so you don't get the same therapeutic effect from indirect light.

"Personally, I think the local news likes to see people freak out" It gives them a sense of purpose....and power.

Very good, very good, Sweetliberty brought reinforcements. Now I think we can take the Dream Haunter and the Shark captive and keep 'em there.

I've been in Tucson almost 14 years. When I lived in Alaska and Seattle, sun lamps were unheard of or I would have needed one. The winters here are brutal enough for me. This morning I heard birds chirping and the sun is out (finally) and I see hope around the bend.

"Now I think we can take the Dream Haunter and the Shark captive and keep 'em there." Hmmm....interesting thought, but where's the sport in that? We have to let them go once in awhile just for the fun of cornering them again. Besides, that still leaves Swervie. He's kind of a special challenge...since he rather enjoys being tormented by wimmin.
