LOL .. I thought about that part too
Not too bright
I couldn't find anything other than sets with fitted sheets...maybe searching for hotel linens would be better.
Afternoon, y'all. Just home for lunch. Was out looking for the addresses of my latest clients, and lo and behold, they have assigned me yet another one that is in close proximity to me. I'm beginning to feel like I'm surrounded by sex perps. The section I live in is pretty nice. Problem is, there's just a dirt road that separates us from a trailer park where apparently we have a case on darn near every household with kids. I live on the corner so my bedroom window faces the trailer park. About time to buy a gun.
That's scary finding that news out
.....Westy.....
Well, I usually ask to be relieved of cases that are close by, but there are only 3 of us in the county now, so it's getting harder, especially when one of the other caseworkers has a worse problem....she's related to a lot of them. LOL!
OMG...I did find some new hotel sheets in just the color and size I need. But, I have to buy two dozen for $218.00
Now I just have to find twenty-two other folks who need a king sized flat sheet in beige.
LOL
It's way past time for you to be armed, Libby.
Watch your local papers and purchase one from an individual, then practice, practice, practice.
I'm so glad you have come to that decision.
Well, nuts - ours are the queen size.
I guess you could through up a vanity thread here and troll for new friends.
Who know? At that price you might get lucky...so to speak.
I am laughing so hard, Loddy. What do you think JimRob would do if I started a vanity thread to collectively buy sheets. BTW...did you ever wonder why vanity is not spelled vainity?
I'm guessing she doesn't get invited to Thanksgiving alot?
I used to have a gun. My husband lost it. I just never got another one. Never felt a need for it. I'm not allowed to carry a gun when I'm working. The only thing we can be armed with is pepper spray and a cell phone. Problem is, there's a lot of dead zones for cell phones in these rural areas, so a cell phone is pretty useless a lot of the time. I guess I'm mainly thinking for having one at home. I am pretty diligent to keep clients from knowing where I live. It's never a good idea for them to access to you in off time, but this isn't a very big town, and people know people and they talk. I do try to keep a low profile at home though.
LOL! Oh, she has relatives that AREN'T clients, it's just that she's lived around here all her life and she has one of those families that is related to practically everybody....kinda like me in Kentucky.
Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh ... We have that up here in Philly too
Well .. not the client part
He might get pissed that it was cutting into the fundraiser's dough...on the other hand, he might need some fresh sheets at his home.
Maybe they used to spell it vainity - olde english or something.
Great work, PhillyGal
I'm trying to plan a camping vacation this summer to Biloxi. Can you tell me how the beaches survived the hurricanes and if its still a pleasant vacation area?
Well, I've just seen Governor Bush and Powell in Indonesia promising more money for aid. Is this a pissing match to see how much more aid we can give vs all other countries combined?
I am tired of this crap and equally so with Freepers on the other threads saying that if we don't give personally till it hurts, we are not compassionate. Scuse me, but I think I already gave through my 1040!
