You won't believe what my wicked liberal sisters gave us for Christmas - a Bush cat toy filled with catnip. We were going to place the toy in our Bush shrine where they couldn't get it, but they broke into our luggage and started to shred him!

"I will go to great lengths to avoid groups of more than ten or so."

Same here, Loddy. That is why I prefer on holidays, such as New Year's Eve, when the crazies are out in force, to either get together with a few friends (like 2 or 3) at someone's home, or simply stay in and save the socializing for a calmer time. I have never had much of a compulsion to "celebrate" holidays by going out amongst crowds and getting inebriated. I can celebrate and get inebriated at home.

I feel very strange when I am in crowds. Like there is something not normal with me, and why can't I enjoy crowds like much of the rest of the world seems to.

Some are energized by crowds; others are drained by them. I am of the opinion that this is because those who are energized by them get that way by sucking the energy from those that are not. Not that it's a conscious thing; just the way it is.

AGH!!! Thanks... just saw in the paper yesterday how they (the "entrants") are all still coming in through AZ... I think more than thru NM, TX, and CA combined.

Noooo! I have a cat toy I bought years ago - it's Billy Jeff in jogging clohtes, and the front of it says "Run, Bill, Run".

Baby would grab Bills head in her mouth, hold him with her front paws, and rabbit kick with her read paws. He is made of pretty durable stuff, since he's still intact. The catnip inside is pretty old now, so it doesn't attrack the cats like it used to, but I keep it around because it's just way too funny.

...a Bush Cat-toy?

Who knew?

There are some truly "gift-challenged" out there...though my SIL was less than thrilled over the Shotgun Shell tree lights. She said that my brother could put them on his deer stand.

All those upscale stores losted it when it was taken over by liberal generation threw out integrity, class and quality when they started too cater to the welfare, a-moral crowd!

offend the producer and pamper the parasites....

I recall as a working person going to one of those stores and see those who were from the projects able to get things I had to save for!

What the sense of working two jobs when your taxes enables the those on the dole to make out like a bandit!

I would not call the various level of shopping class envy I call it working your way up!

The middle class gets robbed to paid for the uncouth!

Today from my younger years of two jobs and taxed so much that I really only came a way with a few extra dollards for all my efforts!

Now my wore out body and I have to sued for disability I paid into all my life to collect while every day someone comes to these shores and gets hand out!

LOL! Yep, the rabbit kicking is what they enjoy doing to the poor Pres. Bush toy. I wish the girls had gotten me a Bubba or Lurch toy instead :)

Yep, my father worked his whole life in the U.S. and my mom worked for 20 years and paid into social security. Now all the phony asylum seekers from Russia and other European countries are coming over in droves and immediately collecting the same as or more social security than my parents are getting.

Facinating Grannie, I loved the bubbles. I also love sea food. I wonder if I could get some of those at the local restaurant.

On the other hand perhaps they are not good to eat, being as they would be considered exotic.

I will have check out the local pet store.

If you're trying to get Social Security Disability benefits, please don't pay anyone who says that they can help you - you can do it yourself and save yourself 30% of the initial payment.

Mrs.L works for the Disability Determination Division of the TX Rehab Commission and knows the ins and outs of this Federal Program, and I've learned enough over the years to be able to help walk several of my disabled tenants successfully through the process.

It's a very inter-gender and fair list.....

The first twelve SI models from this year.........

And, of course, Darks has a little tent on the corner of the canal to even things out.

Defend yourself Darks........they're doing unspeakable things to you in print.

Surfer Martin Markwell had always dreamed of catching a really big wave but when it finally came along, it turned into a nightmare.

He was paddling on his surfboard on Sunday off the Hikkaduwa resort on Sri Lanka's southern coast when he was swept up by a tsunami and sent crashing over a beach and into a hotel restaurant.

"It was really terrible because I was surfing on a wave I wasn't supposed to be on," said Mr Markwell, 38, from Porthcawl, south Wales. "As an experienced surfer, when I saw the wave come I realised something was wrong, but I couldn't escape because my surfboard was tied to my ankle."

His wife Vicki and son Jake looked on in horror from a hotel balcony. Miraculously, he managed to stay on his board until he reached the hotel, jumped off and waded to safety as the ocean rolled back to feed a much larger tsunami on its way.

The family regrouped and ran inland to safety.

I can't believe he made it. I couldn't believe the stories of how thousands of people standing only knee-deep were swept away in the initial undertow and vanished.
