I forget, is there any reason Teresa shouldn't see Fruits Basket? I was going to bring the first disc with me when I went out to the house, but I couldn't remember.

Good morning! Happy Christmas Eve!

We sucessfull collected the inlaws. After 7 hours of delays the poor dears were tired and hungry and very ready for a good night's sleep. They're very excited to be here and we're happy to have them. (Am I mentally ill if I like my inlaws??? Dwarves aren't allowed to answer *grin*.)

The other contingent arrives this evening. Still no new niece, although the doctor has declared that "everything is proceeding nicely." My mother is up in NY pulling grandma duty keeping that nephew of mine entertained and out from underfoot.

In the airport last night were a group of carolers who were just heavenly. They sang a tight harmony and wore historic "Charles Dickens"-era costumes. They were up on a balcony and I scanned the crowd on the floor below where I was trying to see if anyones heads were exploding like the martians in "Mars Attacks." The carolers were singing carols and hymns and songs about the Christ. It was blatently Christian and sure to offend. But no. Everone I saw had the most sublime smiles on their faces. Phooey on the ACLU. Phooey, phooey, phoooooooey on the ACLU. The carolers got *big* applause.

Merry Christmas Eve to all! I have already been to town and back with a carload of bothers for donuts. I need more caffeine.

In Fruits Basket... There are a few... moments. Jokes that are a little hard to explain. Mostly it's ok. Will innuendo-ish jokes go over her head? It's a real shame, because the story is so good, that you have to think about things like that.

And, um, there is one moment in an episode later on that is waaaay too much. But I could possibly tell you which episode and you could preview it and just tell her to close her eyes for two minutes. That's what I do when showing the eldest bother anime with one "moment".
