Most of the yard is field or mesh fence and is dog proof. The part between him and the horses though is electric, and they'll stay in once they've been hit by it, but it's learned.I've got a little time now before dark. I may take him out and walk the fenceline. Looks like this:
LOL Winmag!
If someone left him at the store, my concern would be that he might try to go back there. I would think he was dumped since he needs care and has a new collar though. I put papers down in the garage at night for Cindy. She won't go but will hold it until she can get outside or for some reason, by the door of my back bedroom.
Heh.... They'll try to hold it. I don't have a garage... but the barn is dry and I may put him out there with some bedding.
Sounds comfortable. Are you watching explorer? It's about dogs today. There was a dog like Becky has that was momma to some baby cheetahs, a rescue German Sheppard and an airport beagle:')
Follow your heart.
At least it ain't the doggy psychic. I can't stand her.
Folk will believe anything ;~D
Just my salute to the memory of Col Chet Lynn, a Marine's Marine.
We just finished our Christmas Eve BLT fest. YUM! Pork fat rules! Gonna have a nice cuppa coffee now. The champagne is chilling for the After Mass Choir party.
Not exactly a Christmas puppy, but he's a sweet looking dog. What doesn Gidget think of her visitor?
He's an old guy.... and is very sweet and quiet... just laying here under my desk now.
Gidget was a little nonplussed about the idea, growling at him and looking him over, but he's oblivious to her. That will probably bug her as much as fighting about it would.
Nice story!
ROFTL! Greased St. Nick!
Good job saving him! I feel bad for the family that will be missing him on Christmas :( At least he is safe.
heh heh... I resemble that remark... thanks fer postin' this ol' classic... Santa knows to pop a green star cluster before approachin' the wire on the ridge... he can get the challenge and password out of the ACEOI, but he knows the runnin' password, which can't be posted in a family safe forum...
Merry Christmas my friend...
mmmmmmm... pork fat... I like that tradition...
Got Christmas Eve dinner cooking... grilled pork chops, scalloped potatoes, corn, and a glass of wine. Mmmmmm!
