Manning did well and used backup receivers to move the Giants.
Bettis did well, earned his moniker, "Bus".
The zebras sucked!
Congratulations Pittsburgh*

Oh, you're just jealous because FL doesn't have a team that's worth a crap this year.......
Though you're right about the weather/Colts. Cold won't be an issue, but I worry about frozen precipitation......
To: F16Fighter
Saw the play, the reason he got called is that the other two guys that had a hold of Ben let go. It probably would have been excuses as momentum or not hearing the whistle if all three had dragged him down, but when two of three tacklers let go after the whistle the guy that doesn't let go will get called for roughing the passer 100% of the time.

I'm also a Pittsburgh Native in New England. I proudly hang my Myron Cope "Terrible Towel". There are a surprising amount of Pittsburgh Natives here. When the steel industry went down the tubes years ago, lots of steel workers moved here to build submarines.

That's not an admission, that's an excuse.LOL!!!! You're a stubborn and great guy! I love your spirit.
Ben had nowhere to go. His feet were stuck, bodies were all intertwined, and one guy came in to knock all those guys over, Ben near the bottom. It really was just incidental........ but I'll take it.
The Rooneys have always been "close" with the NFL movers and shakers. ;-)
Anyhow I appreciate that you're sticking to your guns.
Go Stillers!

The ALL-TIME NFL "dirtiest" player had to be Oakland Raid-ah Ben Davidson.Maybe........ I'd say Conrad Dobler, St Louis mayhem man from the 70's. He was a sicko!
Got any suggestions, P.?

Possible to probable might be a better description. Still, I don't understand why you would doom your team in midseason like that, all for sake of the "future."
It's not fair to the other hard-working players on the team, in my opinion.
To: Zack Nguyen
It's not fair to the other hard-working players on the team, in my opinion. You are completely right. Tiki (sp?) Barber was interviewed on TV before the game and this subject came up. He was very honest. He admitted that it was a little (at least) unfair to the older players.
By the way, Barber is one hell of a runner.

My middle son has an authentic toy Stillers football that was personally autographed by Franco and a "pitcher" also autographed, of Franco making the Immaculate Reception. He (son) even did a project for English class last year using said items.
Go Stillers!

The Steelers will get a first-round bye because the Chargers play Indy at Indy next Sunday. The game will definitely not end in a tie because San Diego is going to pull a stunning upset and shock the
Dolts at home. I'm down here in SD for the winter and the talk amongst informed drunks in the bars is that Coach Wade Phillips has been working on new blitzes and coverage packages that have NEVER been used by San Diego in the past. These will be blitzes and coverages that Peyton Manning has never seen from the Chargers and he will not be expecting them or know how to react (at least at first.) We're hoping he gets shook up real good in the first quarter.
Dolts? What a good sport.
Better eat your crow before it gets cold. The "Dolts" are for real.
To: Petronski
I was completely unimpressed, once again, by Pittsburgh today. Big Ben looked awful. Their secondary played VERY soft in the 4th quarter.
The Steelers are one dimensional and very beatable. Whoever wins tomorrow's Colts/Pats game WILL be representing the AFC in the Super Bowl.
