That's even worse! Then I can imagine Christopher Plummer lip-synching "Edelweiss" while the guy doing the singing is actually . . . let's see, who else scares me . . . Christopher Walken.

In the movie it actually wasn't him singing! He was dubbed. When Sound of Music was debuted in Hong Kong, the theater operator wanted to get more showings per day... so he cut out all the musical numbers.
