I'm guessing Paris Hilton received the award for "Miss Skankalicious 2004".

That's a joke right? About BS doing another tour. Yikes, her fan base must be dying off right and left and she herself is no spring chicken.

This is the report from Cindy Adams:

YOU won't believe this. I don't believe this. None of God's chillun will believe this. Hard to believe this. But, believe this.

Barbra Streisand is contemplating another tour. Another comeback tour. Another final this-is-for-sure-the-last-shot-and-after-this-you-won't-have-Yentl-to-kick-around-again-I'm-off-into-the-sunset farewell tour.

Go back a few years. Remember her heralded farewell schlep around the country where in New York she worked the Garden and pocketed millions and guaranteed mankind this was It and she was finished . . . over . . . done . . . history? Then remember a few minutes later, yet another positively, absolutely, definitely her final-and-forever-and-ever-and-ever-bye bye-ta ta-so long-adieu-auf weidersehn swan song?

Well, she's itching and twitching again. The woman's been resurrected more often than the man from Galilee.

Those who earn a living from her will deny this. When I first announced that first tour years back, they called me stupid. Also dumb. Probably they will now repeat that I am stupid. Also dumb.

Right now this tour is only in the talking stage. Planning. Plotting. Doesn't mean it won't fall apart. Many egos are involved because, fearful she maybe can't cut it all by herself, she's figuring to go as a duo with Neil Diamond. They've worked together before, fund-raising for John Kerry.

So why's this a possibility? Same reason she's in that "Meet the Fockers" thing. She misses the action. She's had fat injections in the face, she's had the face done. Now she's had enough with just mulching rosebushes, watching her husband, doing Donna Karan's ashram and getting manicures. She wants back in the spotlight.

Timing for this tour for the gray-haired set, the most expensive ever, is summer '05.

Wow, from Cindy huh? Ol' Babs must of dissed her in some fashion. "Farewell schlep" is priceless.

I'm guessing Paris Hilton received the award for "Miss Skankalicious 2004".

A reasonable assumption. However, Paris (and isn't it delicious that such a skank is named Paris?) won for, Big Catch Phrase of '04 for 'That's Hot.'

Donald Trump's toupee must be spinning, he probably thinks he should have won it for, "You're fired."

Did anyone see Brian Williams' debut? I had told my sister this morning that the smartest thing he could do would be to relentlessly go after the U.N. scandals. Announce major investigations, put the pressure on and leave the other networks in the dust.

I tuned in late, but when I did Lisa Meyers was reporting an outrageous U.N. story about the Rwanda genocide. Apparently a Mr. Mbarushimana was a U.N. employee in Rwanda and he's been identified by many witnesses as having killed over 30 people...INCLUDING OTHER U.N. EMPLOYEES! He issued the orders for many mass killings. The int'l criminal court wanted to bring charges, but prosecutors decided only to go after the big fish...considered him a middle man.

So what did the U.N. do? Gave him 13 months back pay plus bonuses to make up for his "persecution" by the court.

The other networks should be mortified at the light touch they've used on Kofi's behalf. If Williams keeps up this kind of reporting, they may have to turn out the lights on ole Dan long before March.

No, Karl Rove is not Santa in that photo...It is Willard Scott.

Who is Willie? White House Christmas Decor Evinces Musical Favorites

In keeping with the musical theme, the traditional gingerbread White House replica in the State Dining Room features chocolate Marine Band members prowling the roof and First Pets Barney and Willie romping through miniature illustrations of songs such as "Frosty the Snowman," "We Wish You a Merry Christmas," "Rockin' Around the Christmas Tree" and "Toyland."

I saw some of that story about the Rwandan fellow being paid by the U.N. to fight genocide - while he was busily engaging in it himself. A "refugee" in Paris, as he sat at an outdoor cafe sipping coffee - where can I sign up?

Cindy Adams reports (from the "when pigs fly" department, and not necessarily referring to PIAPS):

THERE exists a rumor — unsubstantiated, unconfirmed, unwidened, unanything but very interesting — that Bush will ship Clinton to Israel to broker some sort of peace pact. GOP operatives pooh-pooh it. They say Bush wouldn't give Hillary & Co. such an opening for her future White House plans. Dems say it's a logical move. One Bill can handle.

India "Willie" Bush:

She must be the camera-shy member of the family.
Other than this photo, I can never recall having seen her.

Thanks...Willie is a beautiful cat. The other family cat, Ernie, is still alive and living in California. The Bushes shipped him off in 2000 because he was such a rascal and also still had his claws. The friend who is caring for him remarked that UNFORTUNATELY, he is still alive...wonder if he will be reunited with the family in 4 years?

I'd forgotten about Ernie!

What an incredible day this is shaping up to be.
Ukraine Supreme Court just threw out the election results and announced there will be a new vote in a couple of weeks.
Jubilant crowds are beginning to gather at the now-familiar Kiev square!

Gov. Arnold, bless his heart, threw out political correctness and lighted the capitol CHRISTMAS tree. Grayout Davis had dubbed it the Holiday tree, of course.

Aussies in Sydney are in an uproar at their Lord Mayor's decision not to do public decorations for Christmas. Callers are burning up the talk radio lines.

Denver's mayor was forced to back down on his intent to replace the Merry Christmas sign with one saying Happy Holidays.

Elections matter!
