FREEPER FAMILY TABLE--Thanksgiving recap
me | The Day After...oy vey! | grellis

I am going to keep it really simple today--I don't know about you folks but I am still digesting and I have relatives returning any moment. Here are a few queries...

How was your Thanksgiving?

Are all of your relatives liberal democrats?

What is your all time favorite Thanksgiving dish?

What is the worst Thanksgiving dish you have ever eaten?

Did anyone else get snow this week? 8^)

Why are you answering these silly questions when you should be out shopping?

What is the airspeed velocity of an African Swallow? European?

Can anyone lend me some Tums?

Had two Thanksgivings - my husband and I visited his mom, who is home-bound, on Thursday. The agency that provides her housekeeping service provided dinner, and told her to invite family. Phyllis and her daughter Chelsea (who is much nicer and more attractive than the former presidential daughter Chelsea) delivered delicious meals.

Then on Sunday, my daughter, my son & his family, and my F-I-L and his wife joined us for dinner at our house. We had turkey, two kinds of squash, carrots, potatoes, rice, gravy, and my husband's special pecan pie. He makes the best pecan pie! One of his secrets is to soak the pecans in butterscotch schnapps! It really brings out the nutty flavor of the pecans!

No liberals at either table. My son voted Libertarian, but we didn't talk politics.

Hope you all had a terrific holiday!

LOL! I used to tell my parents that I was going to have two houses when I grew up - one for me and my cats, and one for when they visited. (Dad's deathly allergic to them, so I never begged too hard to have one at home.) My daughter has a cat, and I now understand why Mom was never keen to have pets in the house! I thought cats were clean!!

LOL!!!

The only reason I won't have a cat in the house is because of the dogs. My big girl hates cats and is too old (11) to try and change her. The puppy (18months) would probably be OK, but the last time she encountered a cat it scared the daylights out of her, and it was only a tiny kitten!
