Good evening, WCG. In case you missed it, the NASCAR champion will visit the President at the White House next week. I assume other NASCAR drivers and big-wigs will be there as well.

You're welcome, WCG. I'm glad you found the answer over on the Dose thread, since I had stepped away from my PC for awhile and didn't see your question right away. I don't know who from the NASCAR world will attend, other than Busch. But I suspect Junior will be there if his schedule permits.

Too bad Stewart #20 had gear box problems, it could have been an exciting finish.

No, I missed it. Been fighting with my connection this morning too. Drizzle does not set well with our phone lines. Was connected at a blazing 7.2 Kbps earlier. Wasn't paying attention to the race. :(

Pretty good showing by the Nascar boys!!!
Had problems with the grandsons here. Told the oldest, this was a timed race, they didn't count laps. He said "What????"
His little brother said "I don't like these cars, where is Jeff Gordon?"

Pictures of the fire in the 67 car, not sure on the cause. Shades of Earnhardt Jr, different car but same result. (for the car that is, this driver got out without burns)

I happened to be watching at that time. It spread a little faster than Jr's fire. They thought it was a fuel line malfunction. Fire is a drivers worst fear.
