I can't believe what I just saw on that show. If you watched it, you know what I'm talking about. The "funhouse" skit...
Hey, they don't have anyone else to pick on, we won remember?
I don't watch SNL; I prefer comedy shows. ;)
They've had skits making fun of Al Queda several times in the last few years.
Will Ferrell leaving was when I stopped watching.
The only time I watch SNL now is when Christopher Walken hosts. He is fantastic.
I saw a skit or two last week because my roommate wanted to watch. They were nothing short of pathetic. Liam Neeson looked completely out of his element and the audience gave polite laughter only. It sucked.
Sometimes the Dog is funny.I saw him on Mc Enroe.Itwas pretty good. About SNL,you know the Democrat brass actually watched it during the campaign to get ideas and direction. It said in an article about the OBL tape, that"Mellman, went to the DNC headquarters ,on the Sunday to discuss the tape, he felt better, because SNL had done a skit and taken the sting out of it."
When I read that,I thaught, they really do live in a different dimension,as if the Ameriican People wait every week to make up their minds on important issues,to see how SNL is going to deal with it.GEESHHH! And they wanted to be in the White House, they all need to go to the BIG HOUSE!
Yes! Triumph!
That dog can hunt!
Love that dog!
He skewers everyone!
I found it totally un funny, And I'm about as easy going as they come. I kept watching though as I was getting my back scratched and didn't want to make a move and possibly forfeit my moment of crosseyed pleasure.......
Then, after watching the "Weekend Update" bit, and the review of this years toys..... a talking game stick that had the female cohost pulling on this plastic toy as though masterbating it, and the voice saying something to the effect of "Yes, oh Yes", I was totally disgusted.
Sign me never watching the trash the liberals call comedy again. You know they lower the ethics, intelligence and creativity of the "routines" when they have no real talent.
They don't know what real comedy is, so they debase the viewers with Sex, foul language, obscene displays, gestures, etc.., and then say we are stuffy puritans.
I just know good comedy when I see it, and I haven't seen it for quite a while.
I also found that skit incredibly offensive, and turned it off a few seconds after it began. I guess middle America can look forward to being bashed by the "entertainers" in Hollywood and New York for the next few years, as they perceive us as being a bunch of racist, "intolerant" Christians.
I was switching back and forth between SNL and Mad TV. I usually like the Dollar Bill Montgomery character on Mad TV, but the skit was unwatchable tonight because Bill Maher was on it trashing Bush.
It is becoming very difficult to find any comedy on TV that does not trash the President. I thought things would be better after the election, but they're worse now, as now the libs hate us and President Bush even more. Too bad for them.
urned it off
Just disgusting and OTL--even for SNL.
Typical leftist propaganda
ditto here.

I watch it once in the bluemoon for a few minutes, usually during one of the political parodies which are no longer funny. Thanks for the report. Now it will be on my boycott list and probably should have been long ago.
I've convinced myself that Triumph is real and Smiegel is the inanimate object. It helps.
Haven't seen those. But that's not quite the same as making fun of ordinary muslims. For example, have they produced a muslim character comparable to the Christian Church Lady? Have they produced any character that makes islam the object of derision or snickering?
