I understand about difficult people to buy for. Groan. I've no idea what to give my Bess. I'm just at a loss. She says she doesn't want anything but good health for the two of us. I can't do that. :)
She won't give me even one tiny hint of what she'd like to have.
Believe Bess. While getting my folks' house ready for sale, we've found all the presents we gave them over the years all boxed up and stacked in a closet.
At a certain point in most of our lives we have all the "stuff" that we want or need...most of us, if we want something, we just go get it - and I mean immediately.
Good luck with it.
Hello, Ringy! What loddy said - believe her. I still buy stuff for people I love who have everything or buy what they want or need, but I get little token things, like flowers that they'll enjoy, or scented soaps or lotions that most of us don't buy for themselves. I also make mixes of things (I bought a little book with all sorts of recipes) where you layer the dry ingredients in a decorative jar, then put the recipe for the rest of the add-ins, like eggs, oil, milk, whatever, and how to prepare it. Just things they can use, and not have to be concerned that it's something they'll stash in a drawer or closet and forget about.
Yea Yea Yea .. My MIL says the same thing
We all know they really want a gift ... I wish they would just tell us what they want
Well .. I've been trying ALL *(%((#%(#% Day to get the kids computer working properly ... they picked up another *(%*(#*%#*(% virus
Jess just came in from school and asked what I was doing
I said I was trying to get the blank computer to
Then stopped talking because I didn't want to say any bad words
With that Carly chimes in ... You mean the Damn Computer, Mommy ??
I guess I must have slipped earlier .. *L*
