Not growing up on the, or any, coast, I hate having to work coaxing meat out of hulls. Hate it.
The best that I can do is shrimp, and I peel them before cooking. (It doesn't stink up the place when cooking, and when done, we can immediately get to the business at hand.)
Your usual underhanded comment.......shame on you....... her hands are too short to use a keyboard correctly.
:-)
Good chow, good drinks, good friends - cheers, guys.

Loddy, the best thing about eating shellfish, besides the taste...is that you expend more calories shelling the darn things than you gain by eating them.
Oh the place you took the boat to Cozumel..was that Playa Del Carmen or Puerto Moreles? Both are very nice.
Yes, I know where you mean up at the point. We stayed there when the hurricane (Gilbert) attacked our place. I love the Entero Frito Grouper there, and swear before I leave FL I have to make it here. There is a moratorium on Grouper here tho until Jan. They are being fished out. Not my fav fish, but fried in deep fat whole it's the nuts.
We only went there when we could get away for a week or two, or yearly vaca's. We still have many friends living at the same condo, and some followed us to FL and bought homes here, and still go to both places.
I got tired of the pain of international travel after awhile. It was four a hour trip from Boston..and took from early morning until evening to get there. That was before 9/11. :(
Yeahhhhhhhhhhhh.. and ain't it fun?
LOL..what a slutty post.. ;)
Oh we like King.. in fact that what we usually get, but now I like the Snow better. Much sweeter I think.
But funny, no?
My dad sent me that in my email today. It made me think of you and Al.
It would..lol. Oh the abuse..!
Heheh - yep. Just trying to eat what I need, that is what pisses me off about the hulled creatures.
I spend all this $$$, and end up more hungry than when I started out on the meal.
We had a lot of good times in Cancun. With and without family. Beaches, snorkeling, surf, Tulum, that old Mayan city......
*Sigh*
Those flying boobies......LOL
Yeahhhhhhhhhhh.. I miss it too. It's still a great place for a vacation, and I'll never forget soaking in that gorgeous, blue turquoise warm water. That white sand never burning your feet. The sun baking those old tired bones. Those tongas, and bikini clad boys. Sighhhh... I do miss it.
Did you ever go to Rosa's Beach on Isla Mujeres? It was topless, and had hammocks to lay in while drinking blue thingies and watching the pretty people. Al loved it there..lol.
Ooops...lol I guess I did. ;)
I just can't see myself strolling on a beach topless....even at 20. I've never had THAT many blue thingies.
"Al loved it there"
Now there's a surprise. < /sarcasm >
Welll.. we wouldn't be the type to stroll topless I don't think..
Maybe LL might.. ;)
