Hey there, it takes my mind off watching the grass grow. Variety is the spice of life, donchano.
I might have to go and help Nully figure out why his Pendulum stopped swinging. I'm really good at 'swingin' things..;)
To: grannie9
Oh my pendulum swings OK, it's just that the ceiling is too low for the full lenght...

He's having way too many 'Senior' moments lately. You know how they go a little beserk at a certain age?
He goes out on that bike of his for hours..and ghod only knows what he's doing?
Of course when I find out, he's in really deep doo doo..or he'll be going to jail and not collecting the $200..;)

"it's just that the ceiling is too low for the full lenght..." You just need to dig a bigger deeper hole.

Hmmmmm... maybe your cellar isn't so bad after all. How high the ceilings there, Momma?
To: grannie9
"You know how they go a little beserk at a certain age?" You mean puberty?

Yeah... the second one.;)

One of the ladies at work was showing off a picture of her sister posing arm and arm with Danny Glover. Both were decked out in full Kerry regalia. There is just no graceful response to having that stuck in your face. I think I just said something like, "oh." LOL! Well, at least I didn't say, "oh, your sister's a DUhmmy. How very embarassing for you."

Isn't that sick? There is no answer to stuff like that. All you can do is swallow hard and back away.
They just would not get it!
To: null and void
LOL..I think I would prefer the Trebuchet. Is it still available?
To: grannie9
Yep. I mean, I have a picture of one of my uncles with Billy Carter, but at least I admit it's a little embarassing and at least he isn't wearing "Carter for President" stuff. Besides, I don't think they were together for political purposes, I think it was more like for beer-drinking purposes.

Well, yes.
Certainly so.
I hear certain sand textures against one's scales is quite exhilarating.

Darn it.. you have no windows in the basement? Is there any weight limit besides distance? We must work on this.. I don't think that basement of yours is set up very well. Stop digging deeper holes, and work on the outside walls and ports.
To: grannie9; Lakeshark
What can I say?
It's natural talent.
Either that, or I have a zone of influence of screaming mind doom..

This is true.
Once progressed to the stage where "Sheare-isms" are being spoken in your voice, rest assured that reporting to the basement is the least of one's worries.

Well, I could shoot you out the door, I suppose. But then you'd probably hit one of the redwoods...
