BOISE - UFOs are showing a keen interest in our nuclear weapons facilities, says investigator Robert Hastings, who has spent countless hours analyzing documents dealing with UFO sightings at nuclear missile launch sites and research labs in the United States over the past several decades.
"You have reference to these objects hovering, racing away at blinding speed," he told Idaho 2 News. "There is no evidence we have an aircraft that can do that or anyone else on earth."
Hastings, who has devoted countless hours researching UFOs and the U.S. government's reaction to them, was in Boise for a lecture and slide show Monday at Boise State University.
Hastings believes we are being visited by aliens who have mastered a faster than light form of space flight. And he speculates they have not openly revealed themselves to avoid public panic.
"What they're doing is engaging in a decades long psychological preparation process whereby slowly but surely people on earth understand this is real, they're here," he said.
Hastings believes three UFOs with aliens on board did crash at Roswell, New Mexico in 1947 and points to a 1950 memo to FBI Director J Edgar Hoover saying three so-called flying saucers had been recovered "each one occupied by three bodies of human shape but only 3 feet tall "
And he says the spectacular UFO sighting earlier this year off the Yucatan Peninsula were the real deal. But Hastings is not a believer in the theory aliens and earthlings are working together at Area 51, the top secret base in the Nevada desert, as some suggest.
In the end, Hastings says what's missing -- so far -- is physical evidence, but he says the story is far from over.
Evidently they did not have their craft configured right to deal with the radar installations we had at the time. They adjusted things and solved that particular problem.
They aren't perfect any more than we are.

Shoot--even in 1947--Brazelton was kept naked in a jail cell for days and threatened with extermination of HIS WHOLE FAMILY. That's just a fact. Of course, you don't have to accept it.
But such things tend to silence the more hazardous quite well enough.
There have been tons of things very well kept secret. I know enough to know that. I've read plenty classified traffic.

There are reportedly 2-3 and maybe even 4 DIFFERENT ways to functionally travel 'faster than light' given point A say here and point B very, very far away.
One supposedly involves beinding the fabric of space time as a bowling ball would bend a large rubber sheet.
Another supposedly involves traversing through some other dimensions and popping back into this one very far away if measured only in this time space dimension.
The trends have been inreasingly greater and more rapid bits of disclosure.
Evidently the History channel will have some more shows in Dec about greys etc. I've noticed that their shows let out little bits and pieces that are relatively new and many that are very new to the uninitiated.

I used to subscribe as a memer of Mufon. I have come to believe that most such orgs--or at least a lot of them . . .

Even if I had NOT had a close relative work around UFO's etc., I've still read and talked to enough people in positions to have seen valid stuff that I'd have to believe.
If I had ONLY a close relative who'd worked around UFO's etc. on a daily basis--and NONE of the other vast readings and discussions over the last 40+ years . . . I'd ALSO have no choice but to believe in that case, too.
Enjoy your skepticism. As I read the trend curve on this one, the days of skepticism are increasingly rapidly shortened.
I figure it will all come trotting out--as Werner Von Braun intimated, indicated frankly somewhat--about the time the globalists need a trump card to force the world's citizens into a global government.
I suspect that will be in concert with or near the time of WWIV.
Von Braun declared that after the Soviet union was replaced as the boogey man, there would be a war on terror, a war with Iraq and then an unnecessary, dangerous-to-us war with ET in space.
I disagree with him that ET's are benign as he construed them.
I also think they have SOMETHING to do with the GREAT DECEPTION of the end times that The Bible speaks of.
