Condi Rice is President Bush's selection to replace Collin Powell as Secretary of State.

The Bush Administration is agressively hunting down some 400,000 fugitive immigrants, some 80,000 of which were ordered to leave the country after criminal convictions, according to the Arizona Republic.

NBC is saying that a Marine shot an unarmed and wounded Iraqi prisoner in cold blood. The network offers as proof a video grab showing a marine standing over a prisoner with his M-16 pointed at him. The screen goes to black and a shot is heard on the tape (from the caption to the AP/NBC Pool screen grab). While this means there is no video proof of the shooting, NBC still claims it occurred.

Dogs had another battle with a skunk last night, I think that ole boy just comes around so he can squirt them. The whole yard (and the dogs) stinks to high heaven. So far skunk 3, dogs nothing.

Think I am going to to some tractor work today as I have three mounds of dirt that need pushing down. I do need to get over to my neighbors house and cut their pasture for them, they have 6 of the best looking horses I have ever seen. But in the meantime, time to take gd to school, talk to ya later. I am quite sure I've heard that at least a few Marines have been killed while approaching injured or presumed dead terrorists who were not dead and blew themselves up and killing our Marines in the process.
