To: Northern Yankee

We have two Husqvarnas, a 36 and a bigger one. I don't try the bigger one. I have trouble pull-starting the 36. Yet, once it's going, I keep going. I won't be cutting much today. I might do some clean-up of what I've already chopped.

I have heard Husqvarnas are great saws.

Hopefully I will get to use one some day.

A few years back I was working as a ranger in our local county park, and spent an entire summer cutting down dead oak because of oak wilt. That was before we found out that by cutting these trees in the summer you release those spores. Not good!

I dinged my leg with the saw at one point, tearing into my boot, just below my chaps.

I drove my self to the emergency room, and they patched me up. The funny thing was I was more upset with my stupidity then my leg cut.

I was lucky, only a few stitches. The boot saved my leg.
