VANITY - Hillary Will NOT Be Democratic Presidential Cnadidate in 2008!
ME | 11/8/2004 | Lurking2Long

After the trouncing that Kerry just got, I doubt that the Dems will nominate yet another Northeastern liberal senator. The handwriting is on the wall for Hillary! Your choice of geography will be your undoing!

Freeper thoughts?

Bill Richardson...my thoughts exactly!

Anyone got any dirt on him (besides the fact he is a vote-rigging Democrat)?

I would say that she is the nominee in 2008 based on a couple of things.

Her silence in backing John Kerry was “deafening”.

When Bill was in the hospital undergoing heart surgery and he gave Kerry that a$$ chewing about getting off of the Vietnam bandwagon – it was supposed to be a private conversation. But much to Kerry’s horror the details of that conversation was plastered all over the next Monday morning newspapers. Now only three people knew of that conversation – Bill / ex-Klintonite Joe Lackheart / and Skerry. Who do you think leaked the details and why? http://www.newsmax.com/archives/ic/2004/9/7/94206.shtml

When Skerry made his infamous Mary Cheney is a lesbian gaff during the last debate – who was the only Democryt to publicly denounce Skerry? Why none other than Hillary. http://www.newsmax.com/archives/ic/2004/10/19/92604.shtml Can’t you just see it now – in an effort to garner one of the looniest segments of the Democrytic base Hillary will be up on the stump reminding every gay and lesbian in the country that she was the only Democryt that stood up for them when every other Democryt was comfortable to stay riding on the Skerry bandwagon in 2004.

Like others on this thread have stated, since when have the Democryts learned from their past mistakes? She is a shoe-in for 2008.

Men would turn out heavy against her heavily on both sides, and a good number of women wouldnt vote for her. Hispanics alone are still very patriarchal and would never conceive of a woman president.

Excellent points!

What's a "cnadidate"?

Hillary will run ... the question is who will the Republicans pit against her. If they go with the ever "popular" Rudy Giuliani, she becomes the next POTUS.

BTW - Hillary is from Illinois which is NOT in the Northeast.

I hope that the Hildabeast is not nominated. Somehow I think that this monster has been created by the media and Republicans. I don't ever remember hearing her say that she wanted to be president. Here in West Tennessee, we have had to put up with the Clinton's for over 25 years. She was not well liked in Arkansas and as for her being so smart, I believe that was a rumor started by James Carvell and Paul Begalia (the two for one thing).

I tend to agree with you and I happen to be a woman.

I strongly believe that there are some roles that are not meant for women and vice versa. God didn't create us differently just to have diversity. ; *)

Unless we have a Maggie Thatcher waiting in the wings, I don't see a female prez in the near future.

I would not vote for a woman president unless I knew for a fact she was of iron will. In fact, when I vote (and I know this is bad) and am faced with a long list of judges I know little about--I simply vote the women out. And I am a woman.

Hillary: ready, set
Friends of Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton tell us that the New York Democrat is set to begin the hard work of running for president in 2008. Associates say that she already has organized a team to target fundraising prospects, create voter lists, and draw up a campaign agenda. The presidential effort will run in tandem with Clinton's 2006 senatorial re-election bid.

Hillary will be the nominee. She thinks she can take all of the states Kerry won (she is probably right) and some others such as Florida, Iowa, Nevada, Arizona, Colorado, and New Mexico. The Dem urban base plus the fact that 30% of the Dem voters are minorities will make Hillary a dangerous challenger. Hil and Bill will raise buckets of money and the MSM will go into overdrive.

People in the South are very biased against anyone with a eastern or maybe western accent.

Southerners I know (I'm one myself) are not biased against those with regional accents other than their own, but are suspicious of arrogant and pretentious people regardless of their accents.

If Hillary runs a lot will depend on who the GOP puts up against her. I think Rudy would beat her but I do not know if the social conservatives in the party would accept him. This is particularly true now that they were so instrumental in getting Bush elected to his second term. If he does get the nomination I fear a conservative backlash with a third party put up by the religious right. The Democrats have their problems but we have ours as well.
