We will not tire, we will not falter, and we will not fail!
Good morning!!
Do not let the victims of the attacks on New York and Washington, nor the brave members of our Nation's military who have given their lives to protect our freedom, die in vain!!
And so the democRATS continue to look out upon their election wasteland, pondering what could have been...
"Guess I'll need a ranch out there in South Dakata," said Tom Daschle, as he reflected upon the loss he took on November 2. "I'll teach those darn Dakotans a lesson, I'll be in their face every day, all year. By the way, Nancy, where is South Dakota?"
Why, it's just west of Minnesota, one of the few states we were able to work our special election magic," said Nancy Pelosi, responding to the request from the recalcitrant Senate democRAT leader.
"We would have won them all had John Kerry not flip-flopped on us and pulled our election specialists at the last minute."
"You're right, Terry, it's hard to know who to trust anymore. But that call you made to Ohio, Hillary, that was priceless, but I just can't get over the fact that Senator Kerry refused to stick to the script. He was supposed to use all those trial lawyers you had so thoughtfully pre-positioned in Ohio just for that purpose."
"Yes, Nancy, I had it all set up. I had the extra ballots all printed, and everything was ready to go, just according to the plan we had laid out. We had those devilish Republicans sweating, Hillary had our network partners on board, and John does us in. We would have had Ohio with just a couple more hours. My staff had the story all ready that dozens of ballot boxes had just been discovered in Cincinatti--we have to credit Paris Glendenning, that stunt of his in the 1994 election in Maryland was shear brillance. And we were ready to do it again!"
"Yes, he was a trailblazer. He knew how to get things done, how to protect the citizens, how to make sure that we took care of them because we know what's best for them. John just couldn't shake that flip-flop habit of his. We were even ready to announce that he had lost the election before we won it.
"Nancy, you are so right. If you can't trust a fellow democRAT, who can you trust?"
For AMERICA - The Right Way, I remain yours in the Cause, the Chairman.
I can't stress that enough. She sound nuts enough to say things that never happened..if you get my drift.
Do and say whatever you want when around other people.
FReepmail!
Lysie is right, Jim. If nothing else, just stay away from her. But if necessary, always have a third person there. I had college professors who wouldn't speak to you without a secretary or other prof in the office. People with grudges will say anything, especially if it's he said/she said.
lysie has excellent advice. Take it.
I have very close friends who grew up with Billy Graham and his wife. They visit frequently when in each other's neighborhoods.
My friends told me that one of the reasons Billy has not ever been the subject of "indiscretions" is because he is very careful... for instance, before he enters a hotel room, one of his staff always enters first. He tries never to be alone with another person he does not know well and never with one of the opposite sex.
He understands what even an "accusation" can mean to his ministry.
Exactly! Sad , but true.
Except in this day and age, to be really safe, you should never be alone with anyone. Male or Female. Soon Livestock and Pets will be added to the list.
One of the sweetest little girls I watched in my daycare was a redhead. I guess I'm partial to redheads. My mom was one.
BTW, my ACK was to livestock and pets not redheads. :-)
You gotta problem with my redheaded uncles? Or Gillian Anderson(rowwwrrrr)? ;^)
I am unfamilar with the drug Aricept which is supposed to help people with Altzheimers, but is used for people with other forms of dementia. Mil's doctor has suggested this drug because mil's memory is not like it was last year.... due to perhaps her mini strokes. While I'm not totally convinced that her memory is not as good as last year, do you have any knowledge of this drug?
Two timin' Laura, eh?
Carpe Diem!!!!!
BRB, have to go run a service call for a customer. Gimme about 30-60 minutes.
Or was it spelled Uncle Tonoose?
..she's had Alzheimers for almost 6 years now...
..and the Aricept helped a lot initially....quite a bit....but it seems to have leveled off...
...and we've up the meds to include the newest Alzheimers drug on the market, but I can't think of the name right now.
Mom is getting both drugs now....but has recently had to also take a daily seditive to keep her at a calm level.
By the first of the year, mom will be in a private wing of the assisted living home....with the other Alzheimer patients.
...She's having trouble recognizing people, even dad.....and her existence consists of eating 3 meals a day, and sleeping the remainder of the time.
She can still dress herself, and tries to maintain looking good with makeup, etc, because that's ingrained in her.....
...but she's slipping away more and more.
Back to your question....I would definitely agree Aricept can help!!!....especially in the early stages.
#54..Prayers sent for your daughter, sweetie.
I was an x file fan.. have many of the purchased VSH tapes
