We will not tire, we will not falter, and we will not fail!
Good morning!!
Do not let the victims of the attacks on New York and Washington, nor the brave members of our Nation's military who have given their lives to protect our freedom, die in vain!!
In direct response to the MoveOnPlease.org commentary (which is here and should be read for contrast, but note, it is "R" rated!), the following is offered:
THANK YOU AMERICA!!
With the crushing defeat of Kerry in the election of November 2, you are no doubt asking yourself, as we here at ATRW have for the last couple of days, who is responsible? Where can the praise be landed? We think the answer is self-evident: the praise lies with you, the ATRW reader and the American voter. We're not gloating. We're not estatic (much). We're just stating the facts.
You wonderful-beyond-words intelligent folks!
Praise you. We appreciate the wins in Mississipi and Tennessee (even though Algore still claims the latter as his home). You are fine American folks with wonderful values that the people in places like New York and California can learn to emulate. You think that Bush'll protect you against Osama bin Laden, and you are right. Bless you.
Florida! You have earned redemption. DemocRATS have worked their butts off lying to you and trying to intimidate you into voting for them. And how did you repay them? You voted Repbulican! Thank you!
And Vermont, and Delaware? Well, you're only three electoral votes, so heck, who cares if you really can't see the way and remain a lost cause.
From the bottom of our hearts, America: BLESS YOU! Bless every last one of you folks! You SAVED the country! We worked our fingers to the bone for you guys...you're wonderful...so happy...
THANK YOU!
The gang here at ATRW!
For AMERICA - The Right Way, I remain yours in the Cause, the Chairman.
I'm trying not to faint. And doing an ok job, but I need to call it a night.
God bless us all. Each, and every one.

Pasasion=passion
That was Glenn Beck wasn't it?
Good night, justacook.
Done.

Goodnight.
Thanks. We're waiting for another call...............may have to go "rescue" him......................
Yes.
I told him that next time, tell them to circle 5 things each. That way they will have to think more about what they want.
Well, she wanted at least 25 purses from the Dept. Store, then it was the 'Baby Stuff',,, things to use with her dolls. She is really a precious child. It's good that I have a hard heart or we'd be selling a farm next week to buy all this stuff for her.
This year I told The Coopster I am making an effort to get them things that do not take up too much room. So far, I have bought each of them their own magazine subscription (even one for the two-year old), Little Rascals videos, fancy sweaters for the girls and a Peyton Manning jersey for the boy. However, granddad likes to buy those big flashy things, so I will have to keep an eye on him.
Hubby found shirts in a farm machinery parts catalog. He says they 'must' have them. They say: "My Grandpa drives Case IH". I don't mind buying them clothes. I know they'll use them.
The funny thing about her wanting these purses was I bought purses for the girls when I was in NYC at the Convention.
She is a tiny Shopaholic, that's for sure.
The youngest granddaughter is very smart. I mean scary smart. She is now talking and telling knock-knock jokes. She won't be two until the end of November.
McGruff's is the one! Thanks!
Prayers for your son's safety.
We watched football with my parents today and I cooked dinner. I realize my mom, who just turned 70, is just starting to not keep the house as clean as it once was.
I cleaned up the kitchen behind her back and need to find creative ways to do more while there but not insult her. I will take this up with my stepdad and perhaps go in there and clean for a few hours a week while mom is playing cards or something.
What fun...
BTW... the Northern Lights are out, and they are spectaculuar... blue, green, and crimson.
I have noticed that I need to REALLY pay attention when dusting. I have an eye appointment tomorrow to get new glasses.
He had quite a weekend. The paperwork finally came through on his promotion and he is now officially Pfc. Evan Son-Of-Mozie (he knew it was coming but it was unofficial until now.)
He's getting a military driver's license so he took a 3-hour class toward that end. He passed his PT test with flying colors; and today, a Pentecostal church in Madison held their annual Veteran's Day salute. They invited members from each branch of the Armed Forces to set up a display........Ev & another medic from his unit brought an ambulance.....they gave tours & answered questions. The day concluded with a prayer service at the church.
While he was there the Madison NBC affiliate was there with their cameras......and Ev got interviewed......he was the only one!
I called my niece in Madison......she's going to watch for his interview & try to tape it for me.
I have mentioned before that I will be 75 on my next birthday and I find that I no longer keep my place as clean as I once did either.
With me it is not vision... I just don't have the drive or energy or desire or ambition... or something! It really doesn't matter to me as much as it once did.
My neighbors tell me my place is spotless... but they are older than I so I can't take much solace in that. I would find it very helpful if I had a child near enough to come to do some of the little things that I no longer do... such as dusting and the kitchen floor. I'd consider it a privilege and be very proud and grateful if they were able to do that.
On the other hand, I'm alone and a man. Perhaps it is different for a woman. I'd imagine if a bit of help were offered... without mentioning the things that need doing, it might be received gracefully... of course I don't know the individuals concerned and that could make a huge difference.
Well... that my two cents worth... and I'm sticking to it!!!
