Happy Belated Birthday. Sorry I missed it! It sounds like you had an enjoyable day.
I'm still working in the basement, Guenie, I've begun the "winter in Texas" section. I'm back in the river. The Brazos River will continue throughout the mural and an old country road. I was having trouble with my vine growing up the sides of the waterfall, but it has taken off, and the "lady on the cliff" now has a couple of vines growing around her feet.
Hope your day was a great one!
Sorry I missed it.
Good Morning. 9 hours of uninterupted sleep last night.
Today is our Church Dinner. It looks like the weather is going to be perfect. This is the main fund raiser of our Alter & Rosary Society.
Ham, Turkey, Dressing, Mashed Potatoes, Gravy, Green Beans, Cole Slaw, jello salads, desserts. All prepared by the farm ladies. People come from miles around for 'real' food, just like Grandma used to make.
Yum!! My kind of meal. :-)
john, not only do the bride and grooms pick out thier desires for their wedding, but now mothers-to-be pick out a store and register for the upcoming showers. It's easy, but I never go along with it.
Guenie, my basement, and my playhouse are ongoing projects. I've never been one to leave well enough alone. I'm getting ready to do the front bedroom, upstairs, and thinking of changing the color in the laundry room. I'm tired of the yellow. The water closet off the laundry room needs a little pickup too. Though I've done the ceiling in gold and the walls in silver, the toidy is still white, so I'm thinking of doing it in gold plus the water tank, and changing the seat to lavender to go with the laundry room walls.
It's cool here too, kassie. It's supposed to get up around 74 degrees today, so I'll trim my poor lanky roses, maybe I can talk Roomey into getting some llama pellets from the barn for the roses, I'll cover the pellets with some leaf mold and hopefully they'll come alive next spring and summer.
Now he [Michael Moore] wants Hillary Clinton to challenge for the Democratic nomination in 2008. Great idea: an East Coast, liberal, feminist überbitch that might have been computer-realised by Karl Rove, to leave the Democrats with just California, Massachusetts and New Jersey. Bring her on!I think that last word in the description of Hillary should enter the Freeper lexicon.
I thought so, the alerts, flight boots nearby, etc. Sounded familiar.
I wish you were closer.....that sounds so good.
May it truly be a new realignment, CT. More of the old is going to be the death of us all.

Mmmmm. Lets see, if I get in the car now and drive as fast as I can.....would I make it in time? :^)

Ohh, I've GOT to read that one. Going to find Molly's links again as soon as I proofread Mr. Prairie's article for an industry publication.

I've been reading on the news side. I especially liked this one, altho I am doubtful that it was written by a lib columnist, as claimed by one poster.

I know, this looks more like a valentine, but in the afterglow of the election, I'm sticking with it.
Molly, hope you feel better soon.
Dolly, happy belated birthday.
lysie, may you and your hubby have many more happy anniversaries.
If I remember correctly, someone recently posted a place to listen to conservative radio stations via computer and I CAN'T FIND IT....can someone point me to the right place? Thanks, B
