Happy Wedding Anniversary. Having nothing special planned is such a comfortable thing. Just relax and enjoy the day.

Thank you, Molly.
If posible I would love to go to a newly opened Tex-Mex place near here to do a little boot-scootin'.

Did anyone here on the east coast watch Fox and Friends Weekend? I caught the tail end of a conversation that Mike was having with some woman who professed to understand economics. I still don't know if I hear what I think I did.
Mike was rebuking here saying (I think),"you won't get your point across by calling the president in the White House a chimp." I did hear her response to what I think Mike said, "I am sorry I should not have said that." Than Mike said, "we will edit that out."

Hope you have a great day whatever you decide to do together.. boot scooting, meal together or just a cuddle session. While I was married my hubby & I did a two day anniversary celebration. Day one was my day to him & the next day was his to me. On my day to him I made sure there was a clear path thru the house, had all of his favorite foods, desserts, drinks & an "outing that he would enjoy".. the next day he had meal out & outing that I would like. It was always a great two days with us trying to outdo each other...
but for today...
Happy Anniversary Mr & Mrs Lysie...

I haven't read one report of disaffected Americans trying to move to Mexico, Haiti, or Guatemala. I'd think that anywhere on the planet would do in time like these, but apparently not....
Good morning all. Best nights sleep I've had in months.

In case you haven't seen it, Arafat is dead again. Latest in breaking news has him opening his eyes and communicating again. Freepers on that thread wonder if drooling counts as communication.

BTW, Chair, I want to thank you for all your fine work, before, during and after this election. Thanks, but I'm just a cheerleader. This was a community effort!
And I am indeed proud to be counted among such a great group of Americans!
To all of you, you have done well to protect this country by keeping George W. Bush as President.
Thank you.

Last night around 5:00 a little tiny woman came to our door and said she was desperate for food and money. She offered to clean our windows for $90.
We said okay and I put together a bag of food for her and she started cleaning the windows. It was nearly dark. And it was getting cold. Around 5:30 we couldn't stand it anymore and told her to come back tomorrow. She said she needed the money that evening.
Mr. Peach was worried but I felt confident we could trust her. So we gave her the money and she just came back a few minutes ago! It's still pretty chilly this morning but at least her kids got food last night and she could pay the hotel where they are staying.
I'm putting in a phone call to some folks who know about the local social services and will give her numbers to call. I'm so glad we trusted her. She's breaking my heart out there cleaning our windows.

Let the liberals leave. They can go wherever the want: Canada, France, North Korea. Just so long as they renounce their citizenship and right to vote, I don't care where they go.

Wait till you double the years, it will be the happiest time of both of your lives. I speak from experience.
BillBoy was speaking some words of whizz-doom to HIS party, wonder if those folks will ever learn. I wonder if the dims are gong to be suckered again by putting one of THEIR 'team of the liars' from his 'court', they are all clowns you know. BillyBoy and HILL-O-REE are slowly sinking the dims as well as themselves, kinda like the Titanic. Lets see if the dims will revolt. It could be that they are scared being taken to a Federel Park if you get my drift by some of their 'enforcers'.
