EXACTLY! 52% means a whole helluva lot, esp. when Clinton marched forward with 42%....

But the thing I want to reiterate is that we are doing this to ourselves...there is no rule that says we have to appease the wankers on the left...but yet we do it all the time.

When Bush the Father was in the process of pissing away his presidency on the rocks of bi-partisanship, he went to see Ronald Reagan to get his endorsement. Ronald Reagan would not even see him.

I get the sense that George W. has all the constitution and more of a Ronald Reagan. I just hope he doesn't throw bones to people who neither derserve it nor would do right once they had it......
