But let me ask you: How long do you think immigrants should be made to wait befor they can run for the presidency? 20? 30? 50? When you take the oath of citizenship, shouldn't it afford you ALL of the things being American can bring?

No, it should not afford you all things a native-born American receives. Sorry. We must have it in there to do our best to insure there are no "sleepers." If a person changes his allegiance once, there is a good possibility he will do it again.
