Do not let the victims of the attacks on New York and Washington, nor the brave members of our Nation's military who have given their lives to protect our freedom, die in vain!!
President Bush has already tried to reach out to France and make amends. French President Chirac, however, has also already rebuffed America.
The New York Times is not set for reconcilliation either. They published an op-ed piece today from Krugman that calls Bush a radical and that he will destroy America as we know it. (EN--Well, if we destroy America as seen by the eyes of the liberals, is that necessarily a bad thing?)

Unfortunately, that's not the way it usually works. "If" that Senator ran on a personal platform of something else other than what we want, it's not likely we can expect him to vote with the others,, UNLESS the President's numbers were quite high in his district.
If the President carried his area overwhelmingly, you might see the Senator inch slightly towards the President's positions, in order to get himself aligned with a majority of the voters in his district.
If he is dead, then the cat-fight over the money is about to begin. This should be fun to watch.

Somehow I had missed the little matter of all the money he's got stashed. My son was talking to me about it last night. I guess I was busy following other things the past few days.
The former Ambassador who was just a guest on FNC says when he goes, the money goes with him. Projected to be hundreds of Millions. No wonder all those people are hovering over him. They're hoping he'll come to long enough to give them the Secret Password to his Swiss Bank Accounts. Obviously the soon to be widow must be totally distressed,,,, apparently she doesn't have access to the Secret Pass Word, either.
The Ambassador says that unless her name is also on the account, she's out of luck.
She is the one claiming he is still alive.
Back later...its time to start Christmas shopping.
If it's a Swiss bank account, and her name isn't on it, she won't get any. But the Ambassador has no control or authority over a Swiss account.
There have been so many conflicting stories. I have heard she doesn't have the numbers, that she does have the numbers, that she and Arafat's deputy both have the numbers.
As I said, this is gonna get good.

I use to get my wife two apples, one stick of candy for her first christmas present on christmas day, that was all her family could afford her when she was a wee little tot.
