Beautiful stories of heros honoring fellow heros Mozie. Prayers for all your family.
Neets, I'd love to go to the inaugural ball. Trying to see if circumstances will allow.
Going to call it a night folks.

It was a Magnum PI rerun. This episode was where Robin had this Hawaiian artifact and Magnum was guarding it on a cruise ship. Apollo was shot in this one and at the end,

So, can somebody tell me why Rudy and Condi are out as far as viable conservatives go, but Ahnold is IN,Count me as one Conservative who is not going to vote to change the consititution to allow Arnold to run.
While I admit to cheering wildly at the Republican Nat'l Convention when Arnie was speaking, and FNC showed me in all my glory screaming my lungs out,,, to the point that I received 3 phone calls shortly there after from 1)husband,,, telling me he saw me, 2) from #1 son asking me if I had my nitro tablets with me because he feared I was going to 'go over the edge' and 3) from #2 telling me to sit down and quit making a fool of myself because my GC were watching and they thought 'Grandma is sure acting funny'.
The cheers were for his message and how well I knew it would be received by other legal immigrants.
Our founding fathers put a lot of thought into the Constitution, and I think we owe it to them to hold an informal national discussion over a considerable amount of time before we even THINK seriously about a change.

Arafat is variously:
1. In an irreversible coma;
2. Is improving hourly under the excellent care of the French Military;
3. Is doing chin-ups following the fabulous tonic of mushroom fricassee and borscht he has been taking at his 'undisclised location' (nudge, nudge)
Of course, two of the above three are nasty, Western propaganda...I leave it to you, discerning reader, to ferret out the truth....

I agree...although, you know the Founding Fathers put the native born thing in there specifically to keep Alexander Hamilton out (who was born in the West Indies)...
But let me ask you: How long do you think immigrants should be made to wait befor they can run for the presidency? 20? 30? 50? When you take the oath of citizenship, shouldn't it afford you ALL of the things being American can bring?

Right now, I'm not convinced the Constitution should EVER be changed. So I cannot answer your question directly.
Arnie is far too moderate (Lib) to suit my taste. I don't care what he looks like with his shirt off.
I am quite tired of being told how we need to move to the center with our Party. I think the events of the last 48 hrs are living proof that it 'taint necessasarily so.

No, it should not afford you all things a native-born American receives. Sorry. We must have it in there to do our best to insure there are no "sleepers." If a person changes his allegiance once, there is a good possibility he will do it again.
