In order that we might all raise the level of discourse and expand our language abilities, here is the daily post of word for the day. Rules: Everyone must leave a post using the word of the day; in a sentence. The sentence must, in some way, relate to the news of the day. The Review threads are linked for your edification. ;-) Practice makes perfect.....post on....
Subbie Slip has her whip, handcuffs and legcuffs today.
The rest of the stuff is locked up in my drawer. Im just letting all the new students know that we behave as if we were ladies and gentlemen in here. Those two words as if can get you an A if you make the subbie laugh.

Thanks, Gabz-morning, teacher! A quick one, and I'm off to work-
Now that we are safe for four more years
From the 'rats socialistic vision
It's amusing to see them trying
To understand the country's decision
Katie's in black, with downcast eyes
And a smile that is clearly fake-
See BS's whole staff looks as cheerful
As if they were attending a wake
Why so many of us wouldn't vote for a man
Who speaks antinomy with every word
Seems to be beyond their understanding
Which is, of course absurd
Back later!
hi, miss annie! you know what is most striking, listening to the Dems and the post election analysis? the tremendous FEAR and loathing that the left has for religion and religious people. i just heard Sasha someone or other on F&F sneeringly refer to THE EVANGELICALS as the reason for the Bush victory. and of course, she thinks that the MAINSTREAM of the pub party is going to recoil from the religious side of the party. i don't buy that. i think that the mainstream of AMERICA is religious.
