I dunno HOW people did laundry here in the old days. Lotta indoor clotheslines, I guess.

In the 50's in Miami, we are all freezing...the high will only be in the 60's this afternoon. At least if feels kind of Christmasy.

Won't those clothes freeze instead of dry? Don't let them fall, they may shatter.

We have a line on our screened-in porch that holds a lot of clothes. I put the dark clothes on that line to keep them from fading. They generally take longer to dry, though, because they aren't in the sun.

I really think things like white tee-shirts are REALLY white from hanging in the sun...very bright white! If they have a decal or something that might fade, I hang them wrong-side out.

Like Steve's OSU "I bleed Orange and Black" tee-shirt I got him when I gave blood time before last...it's a black tee with orange print on it. It always gets special treatment, hung on the porch to keep it from fading. He wears it a LOT. I think he likes it. LOL
