There used to be a Nike missile battery there along with miles of undeveloped roads leading to the Marina, which was a sleepy laid back place in the 70's. We used to race on those roads and tank up at the marina, they never checked ID's.

Yeah, it's been a while since the missile base was there. The mysterious roads in the jungle are now blocked that we used to drive on the way to launch our boats on the hard beach at the lake. Housing developements all over now too.
It was nicer before, definitely.
It seems to me that there was a tent city of out of state construction workers on the grounds of the old missile base during the aftermath of Andrew.
