Howdy! Howdy! Howdy!
Howdy! Wish I had that movie...I'd chat view with ya! But maybe another time.
I'm trying to be optimistic, but I believe your life is starting to transfer to mine! LOL
The boys had a birthday party to go to, right? At an indoor playhouse like thing with tons of stuff to climb on, bounce on, swing on...you know? They've been excited for DAYS...really looking forward to it.
This morning, started at 10am. I got them fed and ready to go early because I needed to stop by and get a card. Rushed out to the truck (remember, no transmission in the van) and it wouldn't even turn over. Couldn't get it to jump. Nothing.
Steve went out and worked on it for about an HOUR and couldn't get it to work. It was like the battery was dead, but it wouldn't jump!
I went in the house and broke it to the boys that there was no way to get to the birthday party. It was awful. We all three stood in the living room and cried. Joshua said it was the worst day of his life. I usually can find the bright side of anything, but in this case, I couldn't. I even looked for a bus route, but they don't come down to our area...only 4 miles away. I had to agree, it was a pretty hard thing.
In the meantime, our neighbor across the street came over and fiddled with some cable with a screwdriver and got it to start! In the middle of dispair, I said "Is that the TRUCK??" Matthew shouted YES! And we all jumped in and while we were at the party (an hour late), Steve got the part to fix it...
He's still working on it. But at least the boys got to go to the party!
